Wes Bryan Head Coach
The 2014-15 season will be Wes Bryan's second year as the Varsity Boy’s Basketball coach and his third year at Clear Creek. He was the JV and assistant Varsity coach for the Boy’s Basketball team during the 2012-13 season. Previously Coach Bryan coached at Humble-Kingwood Park where he was part of a regional quarter-finalist team his last two seasons there. He also assisted with track and field.
Coach Bryan resides in Webster and played his High School basketball at Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Marshalltown Community College after high school and played both basketball and baseball there. He then attended Western Illinois University and finished his career there. He graduated from University of Central Missouri with a degree in Social Studies and has his Masters from Lindenwood University in Educational Administration.
Marcus Ebow Junior Varsity Coach
The 2014-15 season will be Coach Ebow's second year as the Junior Varsity Boy’s & Varsity Assistant Basketball coach and his 2nd year at Clear Creek. Previously Coach Ebow coached at C.E. King High School in Houston, TX where he was part of a district title winnning team and made multiple playoff appearances. Coach Ebow also assisted with track and field.
Coach Ebow resides in Baytown, and played his High School basketball at North Shore High School winning multiple district titles and being ranked as high as the 4th best team in TX. He attended Sam Houston State University on a basketball scholarship. He then attended Minnesota State University and finished his career there, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Coaching and earned his Masters degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration. "I look forward to helping restore the rich basketball tradition at Creek that was set before us."
Kyle Griffin Junior Varsity 2 Coach
The 2014-15 season will be Kyle Griffin’s second year as the Junior Varsity 2 coach at Clear Creek. Coach Griffin has coached Basketball and Football for eight seasons and has previously coached in Channelview, Goose Creek and Pasadena before coming to Clear Creek. Along this journey, he has been a part of two district titles in basketball and two district titles in football, as well. Griffin, in addition to coaching basketball, is a varsity football coach for the Wildcats. Attending Baytown Sterling High School, Griffin played football, basketball and baseball. Griffin attended Texas State University and the University of Houston where he received a Bachelor’s degree in History. “This coaching staff, along with the attitude and work ethic of these student athletes at Creek, make it a great place to get up and come to work each day.” –Kyle Griffin
Zackary Bartel Freshman Coach
Zackary Bartel will begin his 3rd year as the Freshman Assistant Coach for the Boys Basketball Team. Coach Bartel is a former alumni of Clear Creek class of 2006. In addition to coaching basketball, Coach Bartel also be coaches freshman football for the Wildcats. Coach Bartel resides in League City and played his High School basketball as a Wildcat at Clear Creek High for Buddy Carlisle. He attended Texas State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2010. Coach Bartel is married to Nicole Bartel.
