What is the registration fee? Tackle football $150 / Flag football $100 / Cheer $150

What is included in the registration fee? For tackle football, your registration fee includes your child’s jersey, integrated game pants and helmet decals. For flag football, your registration fee includes your child’s jersey. For cheer, your registration fee includes your child’s top/shell, skirt, bloomers, socks and pom-poms. Also included in your registration fee are league/insurance fees and a player participation award.

Are any discounts available? Yes, contact DHNS President for more information. We offer a sibling discount of $25 off the registration fee of the second or subsequent child (tackle and cheer only, no discounts on flag).

What do I have to buy or provide in order for my child to participate?

For tackle football, you will need to purchase or have the following:

·         Shoulder pads

·         Helmet

·         Cleats

·         Chin guard

·         Mouth piece

·         Socks (color designated by Head Coach)

·         Practice jersey and pants – Do not wear game jersey or pants to practice!

For flag football, you will need to purchase or have the following:

·         Shorts (black)

·         Mouth piece

·         Socks (color designated by Head Coach)

·         Cleats (optional)

Is football equipment available for rent?

Yes, you may rent helmet and shoulder pads for the season. Equipment will be issued on a first come, first serve basis, upon paying your deposit. Equipment rental is not guaranteed, as DHNS has a limited supply of equipment available. All equipment must be turned in immediately following the final game of the season.

When will equipment be issued?

DHNS football equipment manager will begin issuing rental equipment on August 4, 2016. You must have paid at least $100 toward your registration fees to receive equipment.  

When and where are practices/games held? Once your child is placed on a team (late August), all practices will be up to the discretion of the Head Coach. Practices are generally held at Diamond Hill Rec field, behind Meacham Middle School or at Lincoln Park. All home games are played at Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School. Away games are played at opponent’s field. Games are held on Saturdays unless rescheduled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstance.

Are parent/team shirts available for purchase? Yes, we will begin taking orders for parent and team shirts during the last week of August.
