Aloha Hui Lokahi Basketball Ohana,

We would like to officially welcome all of you to our Hui Lokahi Basketball Skills Clinic. We sincerely appreciate your support and hope your child’s experience with us is a rewarding one. At this time we would like to explain the philosophy and essence of our clinic.

In March of 2009, the Hui Lokahi Skills Clinic was established to provide a learning experience for youngsters in which they can become skilled in the fundamentals of basketball and learn life lessons along the way. As coaches, we all have experienced the highs and lows of both basketball and life and we want to share our knowledge with the youth of today.

The term Hui Lokahi is something that is dear to all of us. In Hawaiian, Hui Lokahi means team or group unity; to us it means “One Team.” As graduates and followers of this philosophy we believe that to be successful in life individuals need to remain humble in victories, work together as a team, persevere through life’s tribulations, and respect everyone we come in contact with - including our opponents. We have all found success in our lives by following the “One Team” way and as coaches we want to extend this mindset to everyone associated with our clinic. 

Our background encompasses many years of basketball knowledge, and also extends into other arenas, such as counseling, teaching, administration, and athletics (coaching and playing).  We feel that with our diverse background and knowledge, your child will not only learn the skills to be successful on the basketball court but also in life. 

The fee for our next clinic is $135.00*. This includes 6-8 hours a month of basketball and life instruction. If being part of Hui Lokahi and “One Team” is what you are looking for, please fill out our application form (link below) to register for our basketball skills clinic.
