Raffle Tickets
When you registered your player(s), your registration fee included a $25 raffle ticket fee. This fee was charged one time per family. Due to the fact that these tickets were prepaid by you, you have a few options when it comes to this raffle.
OPTION #1 You may sell the tickets to family, friends, neighbors, etc. Because you already paid for the tickets, you will keep the money you receive and turn in the stub. Please make sure the buyer fills out the stub neatly and completely. You will turn these stubs in at a practice or at a home game.
OPTION #2 Due to the fact that you have already paid for the tickets, you may choose to fill out the stubs with your information. Skip the selling and possibly win some money!
OPTION #3 Combine option #1 and option #2. Sell what you can and write your name on whatever tickets remain.
Whichever option you choose, please make sure that…
1) all tickets are turned in by September 13th. The drawing will take place before varsity
game.
2)the staple that holds the stubs together is removed. If not, it will not be done for you
therefore decreasing the chance that your tickets will be chosen.
Football Frenzy Cards
Last year was our first year using the Football Frenzy game cards. We had so many winners within our program… several people won more than once!
How does it work? It’s simple… Inside your packet you will find 10 “Football Frenzy” tickets. Each ticket sells for $10 and gives you eight weeks to win. Each card is unique and lists three NFL teams for 8 weeks of NFL games beginning November 9th. Cash prizes are awarded to the ticket that contains teams that have the highest combined score, 2nd highest, 3rd highest and 4th highest. Prizes are also awarded to the lowest and 2nd lowest combined scores. Ticket holders can check results each Tuesday to see if they have won. If they have, they just sit back and a check will arrive within a few days. Tickets can win several times.
So…. what do you do? Again you have options…
Option #1- Sell your ten cards for $10 each and turn in the money ($100).
Option #2- Sell nothing, turn in your ten tickets along with your $50 cash fundraiser buyout. Option #3- Combine the other options. Sell as many tickets as you can for $10 each. Return the unsold tickets along with the money for the tickets you sold and $5 for each unsold ticket. Example: Sell 7 tickets for $10 ($70) Turn in the 3 unsold tickets and $5 for each ($15) for a total of $85.
Option #4- Sell 10 tickets at $10 each (Turn in $100) Request a second packet of 10 tickets. Collect $100… Turn in $80. What??? Yes, for each additional packet of ten tickets you sell after the mandatory 10… You keep $20. But you have to sell all 10. There is no limit to the number of additional packets you can sell. Clearly this is the best option. J
When selling the Football Frenzy tickets, please have your buyers fill out the the entire ticket stub neatly and in ink. Make sure your player’s name is listed next to ORG MEMBER so that if there are any questions, we may contact you. Last year we had several winners list incomplete addresses or illegible information. All prizes aremailed to the addresses listed on the ticket stub.
