QUESTION:

Where are the playing fields located?

 

ANSWER:

The physical address is 7301 Baseball Avenue, Tampa, FL 33634. For map and/or driving directions just click the “Directions” link located on our home page.

Are all games played at Town 'N Country?

 

ANSWER:

Some of our divisions may include an interlocking schedule with games at other Tampa-area parks (such as Forest Hills, North Tampa, Skyway, Temple Terrace or Wellswood).

What will we need to purchase for the season?

 

ANSWER:

Your paid registration includes a hat and game jersey. You will need to provide baseball pants, belt socks, bat, glove & batting helmet.

QUESTION:

This will be our first season playing at Town 'N Country Baseball. Can I register online? Is there anything I will need to bring to in-person registration?

 

ANSWER:

You should be prepared to provide evidence of your child’s age. Acceptable documentation includes: birth certificates, hospital certificates, baptismal certificates, driver’s licenses, passports or equivalent religious or legal documents (Notarized statements from parents are NOT acceptable). Please show the original document and bring a copy which can become a part of the registration package. If registering online, you will need to bring a copy of your child's birth certificate (you should also bring a copy of your confirmation email showing you have already registered online).

How long is the season?

 

ANSWER:

Fall Season - Practices for the Fall Season typically begin around the 2nd week of September and the season games typically end around the 2nd week of November.

 

Spring Season - Practices for the Spring Season typically begin around the 2nd week of February and the season games typically end around the 2nd week of May.

How many practices will there be per week and what time?

 

ANSWER:

Practice schedules (including times) will be determined by the individual coaches. Be sure to communicate any conflicts (such as planned vacations, practices for other sports teams, etc) with the practice schedule as early as possible with your coach.

Game schedules (including times) are based upon the number of teams in each division and may include an interlocking schedule with games at other Tampa-area parks (such as Forest Hills, North Tampa, Skyway, Temple Terrace or Wellswood). Be sure to communicate any conflicts (such as planned vacations, games for other sports teams, etc) with the game schedule as early as possible with your coach.
