Points....

EVERY FAMILY IS RESPONSIBLE TO EARN 120 POINTS!

The point system was put in place to allow the league to run smoothly by giving parents the opportunity to do a variety jobs for the league. Here is how the point system works. Each family, regardless of how many kids you have in the league, starts out each year with 120 points. If no points are earned by the end of the year, that family owes $240 dollars at registration for the next year. So how do you earn points?

1) Become a board member or manage a team – Participating in one of these two ways will allow you to earn your entire 120 point requirement.

2) Be a coach on a team – A limit of two coaches per team (Four for T-Ball) will earn 60 points.

3) Be a team mom – Team moms will earn 60 points.

4) Assist with the field maintenance – Every Saturday, from 7:00am through the time of the first set of games, field maintenance will be done to care for the fields and make them playable for the kids. You will earn 10 points for every hour worked on the field. You do not need to call ahead of time; simply come to the fields and you will be put to work! Field maintenance starts in March, goes all the way through July for all star tournaments and includes some Sundays for travel ball.

5) Concession stand – People will earn 10 points for every hour work at the concession stand. The concession stand is open each weeknight and all day on Saturday.

6) Assistance with other activities - Throughout the year there are other opportunities to earn 10 points per hour at such events as Picture Day, Opening Day and the Picnic. Are you a tradesman with a particular skill? This is another way to earn points by offering your expertise.

Please feel free to contact your manager or a board member with any questions regarding the point system and how you can help contribute to the league.
