Team Rules
PRACTICES
We will be having practice on a regular basis throughout the year. AS A TEAM MEMBER YOUR ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. If you are unable to attend it it your responsibility to contact the coach and let them know you will not be attending practice. We realize that you have a busy schedule and have other commitments. All we ask is that you give baseball the same consideration that you give your other commitments.
LEAGUE GAMES & TOURNAMENTS
To insure that your baseball team is properly represented it's very important that ALL players participate in the game and tournaments. These are "money games" the club has paid to participate in we want our best representing us. Once again we understand that you may not be able to attend in all these events. It's your responsibility to contact your coach and let him know that you will not be able to attend. To help us prepare for the games you must give your coach 24 hours notice that you will not be able to play in a game. A 72 hours notice must be given on all tournaments. We ask that you let the coach know sooner because additional players may need to be called. Your cooperation is needed to insure that the ARIZONA FINEST is properly represented.
GAME AND PRACTICE UNIFORMS
1. Must wear either a maroon or grey jersey with practice hat.
2. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have the necessary clean uniforms.
3. Jewelry is not part of the uniform and is not allowed
4. Uniforms must be worn properly. Jerseys are TUCKED IN AT ALL TIMES.
5. Pitchers and catchers need special equipment.
FIELD CONDUCT
1. Hustle at all times.
2. Show respect to other teams,players,umpires,coaches, and fans.
DUGOUT BEHAVIOR
1. Stay alert and involved in the game.
2. Keep your focus about the game.
3. No horseplay or verbal abuse of teammates.
4. No visitation with anybody out of the dugout
5. No food or soda in the dugout.
6. Keep the dugout clean at all times
POST GAME
1. Clean up dugout of your equipment, team equipment, and trash.
2. We will have a short team meeting after each game.
Remember,it is a PRIVILEGE to play,not a right
