Michael has over 35 years of coaching experience at various levels. He is a past President of the Westborough Youth Soccer Association and was a board member for 14 years, previously serving as Director of Coaching & Player Development and Director of Indoor Soccer and as a coach.
He has served on the Board of Directors for the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League where he chaired the Sportsmanship Review Committee. He has also served on the Board of Directors and as Head Referee for the Assabet Valley Youth Soccer League.
Michael currently coaches our BU17 team. He has coached in the Massachusetts District Select program, Massachusetts Premier League, Massachusetts Soccer Conference, French River Soccer League (HS Division), at high school and college levels. He is a licensed USSF Referee, Central Mass Soccer Official and USSF Futsal and Indoor referee, having participated in matches for all age groups from U10 through adult, as well as Mass Premier League, Mass Soccer Conference. college showcase tournaments and high schools across Massachusetts. Michael is also a certified USSF Referee Instructor for the Massachusetts State Referee Committee.
In addition, he is a mentor for young referees across the state.

Becki has been active in youth soccer for many years. She has coached and refereed games in Massachusetts Soccer Conference, the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League (NVYSL) , the Assabet Valley Youth Soccer League (AVYSL) and at various tournaments across New England.
She is currently the President and Referee Assignor for Berlin Youth Soccer, where she also represents the club in the NVYSL. She held that same position in the AVYSL, where she was also the Tournament Director and League Registrar.
Becki is a USSF Certified Referee Assignor who schedules referees in the Nashoba Valley Youth Soccer League, Massachusetts Soccer Conference and at college showcase tournaments. She is on the coaching staff of our Under 17 team.
John Hillier
Boys High School Coach - 16 years
USSF E License John is Chauncy FC's Boys U18/19 coach and has coached youth soccer at all age levels. He is currently the Boys Freshman Coach at Westborough High School. He was the Millbury High School JV Boys Coach from 1994 until 2004 when he took over as Varsity Boys Coach. He has been an active board member for Westborough Youth Soccer Association since 2003 and is currently reponsible for the girls U16 & U18 teams and coaches. In his youth, John was an All-Star for Jamestown, RI, playing keeper and striker.

Chris coaches the Boys Under 12 and Under 15 teams.
Chris obtained his USSF E license at 16 years of age. He runs skills clinics for Chauncy FC. He has coached teams for Westboro Youth Soccer and has been a coach for various indoor and tournament teams.
Chris has been working with Chauncy FC since 2005 as a coach for the ThinkSoccer Academy. Chris works with all our teams during our winter futsal training.
He was a 4-year starter at defensive back for the Worcester State University Lancers. He was voted a MASCAC Scholar Athlete All-Star in his senior year. He was the captain of the Westborough High School Rangers for 3 years and played club soccer for FC United participating in tournaments from Maine to Florida.
Tom Newberry

Boys and Girls Coach since 2005
Tom is currently Head Coach of the BU14 team. He holds a USSF D License.
Tom coaches boys and girls teams at both the town and club level. He is also head coach of a boys Mass Youth Soccer district team. Tom has coached championship teams in both 8v8 and 11v11 tournaments. He also is extensively involved in two of Chauncy's ThinkSoccer Academy programs, advancing the players' technical and tactical skills.
Tom continues as a committed member of Ashland Youth Soccer. He has served Ashalnd Youth Soccer as the Secretary of the Board of Directors since 2007.

Bob has extensive coaching experience with youth soccer players. He currently coaches the St. John's High School JV team.
He has previously coached at Tahanto Regional HS and Westborough HS, at District Select and in the Nashoba and Assabet Valley Youth Soccer League. He specializes in fitness training and conditioning for our athletes.
