Kid Glove Information
The major (but not the only) fund raiser for College Hill Baseball (including T-Ball) is the Kid Glove Game.
Here is how this works. The Cincinnati Reds have designated two games (we don't yet know the dates but it will be a weekday in April or May) for use by Greater Cincinnati Knothole Baseball (specifically our District). We have been provided with approximately 200 vouchers for each game. The vouchers have a value of $8 and can be redeemed for tickets to one of the two games noted above.
All of this is done on a first come, first serve basis. So to get started:
a. A parent on the team, other than the coach needs to coordinate this activity for the team.
b. Obtain the Kid Glove Ticket Order Form from the Coach.
c. Determine who from your team is attending (players, family members, etc. are all welcome)
d. Collect $8 from each person who wants to attend who is not a player on the team (no charge for players)
Kid Glove Ticket Order Form along with the collected funds.(the Manager has this). College Hill Baseball will then purchase the tickets (at $8.00 per ticket)and return the tickets to the manager.
For this to work, the following are really important:
a. A team parent (other than one of the coaches) should volunteer to coordinate this.
b. Complete the order form early (this is all done on a first come, first serve basis).
c. Be sure everyone attends the game. College Hill Baseball only receives a credit (remember this is how we get the equipment) if the ticket is actually used (a person attends the game).
Thanks for your help on this. It is a fun outing and it is the biggest fun raiser for the College Hill Baseball Program.
