Bill Gross LQ 2001 Named 1st Team Old Dominion Athletic Conference
Bill Gross, LQ '01 and current linebacker at Catholic University was named to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference first team. An All-Catholic alumni of Archbishop Wood High School, Bill led the Cardinals in tackles with 53 solo and 48 assisted giving him over 10 tackles per game. He ranked first in the conference in tackles for a loss with 10 solo for 73 yards. In addition, Bill had five sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. Dan Dunn, head coach of Catholic U. says: "He plays so hard when he's blitzing-he's trying to kill the quaterback. At times I have to pull the reins in on him a little bit at practice".
