Established in 2002 - the Long Island Storm is a not-for-profit organization that fields competitive travel baseball teams of various age groups from Bellmore NY and the surrounding Long Island communities. Stressing sportsmanship, teamwork and instruction, we compete in invitational leagues (NJBL, FABL, Baseball Heaven) and tournaments (Baseball Heaven, Cooperstown, Disney) providing the highest degree of competitive baseball in the New York City/Long Island area.
The Long Island Storm teams practice and compete during the spring, summer and fall seasons and participate in baseball skills training and physical conditioning throughout the winter months.
The Long Island Storm also runs a very popular indoor skills training clinic during the months of January and February. This clinic is open to the public and is a great way for players to gain a competitive advantage for their spring season. The clinic is scheduled to immediately preceed our spring team tryouts. Each of the clinic sessions are broken down by player age and taught by trainers/instructors who are current and former minor and major league players. Sign up for this clinic is available on-line from this website starting in December.
