September 1, 2008 --
The Arsenal Make it to the Finals for the second tournament in a row and battle to the end in a close 1-0 game. The Arsenal made a few adjustments and gave FC Westchester all they could handle for the first 55 minutes before FC scored the only goal of the game.
The Arsenal beat POB 3-2 in the semi finals to advance. Nick Cestaro scored his second goal of the game in the second half on a great feed from Chris M. for the game winner. Thanks to all for a great weekend and special thanks to Johnny N. from Port Washington for coming down.

Port Washington
September 7, 2008 --
The Arsenal start the new season strong with a 3-2 win over Port Washington. Mass. A. had to overcome a goal in the first 10 seconds of the game by Port. Brian Cruse had 2 goals and Nick B. scored his first goal with the Arsenal. The goaltending and defense were solid as the boys won the first game of the Fall.

September 14, 2008 --
With 3 players out and the heat and humidity turned up, the Arsenal gave it there all to beat a fiesty NHP team. Strong play by the midfield and defense gave the offence the chances they needed to but the ball in the back of the net. Goals by Danny V., Nick Christensen and Nick Cestaro gave Mass. a 3-2 victory.

September 21, 2008 --
The Arsenal go to 4 and 0 with a 5-0 win over Albertson. Pele who was in attendence said after the game "That was a great team effort".
Coach Joe could not be more proud of the boys as they paid back Albertson for knocking them out of the Walbaums Cup in the Spring.

The Arsenal remain undefeated with a 2-1 come from behind win.With goals from Brendan and Nick B. The Arsenal Showed why you should always play the whistle. Great job Boys!

Nick Cestaro scores 2 and Brendan scores 1 as the Arsenal keep on rolling.
"We wanted to show Bayport last years win was no fluke" said one Arsenal member, as they beat The Baymen 3-1 to remain undefeated. Next up the boys are looking forward to a good showing at YMS.

Smithtown

The Arsenal started slow But Nick B. tallied 2 goals in the second half for a 2-0 win. Mikey made a couple saves as the defense keeped Smithtown in there side off the field most off the game.The Arsenal look to stay undefeated next week at Home against Stony Brook. November 2, 2008 --
The Arsenal go undefeated and win 1st Place in Division 1 for the second season in a row with a 1-1 tie against POB. Danny V. filled in for an injured Mikey and made some big saves to keep the score tied. Nick B. scored the only goal while the defense and midfielders outplayed POB for most of the game. GREAT JOB BOYS!
