Q: Does the Football registration fee include anything?

A: Yes, the fee provides each child with their Game day jersey which is their's to keep.

Q: What do I need to purchase for a "Football Player"?

A: You will need to purchase the following, Helmet, Mouth Gaurd, Shoulder pads, Practice Pants & Jersey, Game pants, Game socks, and cleats.

Q: Where can I purchase these supplies?

A: There are several options! Sam's in Royston has everthing from head to toe available and will do lay aways as well. Academy Sports located in Athens has very "Reasonable" prices, and of course you also have "Sports & More" here locally in Madison County who can provide you your sporting goods needs.

Q: Where does football & cheerleading practice?

A: All practices are held at Sammy Haggard Park (Madison County Rec. Dept) located at 1345 Hwy 98 West.

Q: If I purchased a Cheerleading unifom in 2006,2007,2008 do I have to purchase a new one?

A: Ok, Yes! The time has come to change the uniform. The Board elected after 3 years to retire
our uniform and get a new one! However, again the board has implemented into the bylaws
the "new" uniform will be guaranteed to be used for 2009, 2010, 2011!

Q: Who can do alterations on the Uniform?

A: Anyone you wish to use is acceptable. If you need help finding someone to assist you with alterations we may can make a few suggestions.

Q: Are the Coaches paid?

A: NO! MCYA is a not for profit oraganization. Everyone is a Volunteer!
