FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MMRSC joins the Heatwave as an Official Youth Partner
(Scottsdale, AZ) The Arizona Heatwave and the McDowell Mountain Ranch Soccer Club jointly announced today that MMRSC has become an Official Youth Club Partner of the Heatwave. “I have known MMRSC President George Nemeh for a number of years and have watched his steady hand help grow MMRSC into a model youth club”, says Heatwave Managing General Partner, Tom McConkey. “George has put the fun back into soccer, eliminated politics from his club and has put together a program that serves the community well. “
“I cannot tell you how excited I am to have MMRSC partner with the Heatwave”, says Nemeh. “ This simple move will provide benefits to our children for years to come.” Remember everything we do is about the children.”
The Heatwave has already scheduled free clinics for MMRSC. Heatwave goalkeepers Jennifer Branam (US National team and former WUSA goalkeeper) and Pamela Tajonar (Mexico National team) will run goalkeeper sessions during MMRSC camps in June.
International players like ASU’s Amy LePeilbet, Liz Bogus, and Brittany Cooper (all National team players U-19, U-21, and Olympic camp), Mexico’s Dioselina Valderama, and Trinidad/Tobago’s Nikisa James will offer their experience and knowledge to MMRSC players as well.
“No one in the valley will be able to compare the summer experience that the Heatwave can offer the children of MMRSC”, says Heatwave coach Manny Arias.
The Heatwave will also provide a season ticket to each MMRSC registered player. In addition the Heatwave is offering to MMRSC families a special season ticket offer good for a family of six (two adults and four children) for only $40.00 for the season, a savings of over $240.00 over single ticket prices.
