Saturday, August 6th:  Thomas Rodrigues' sacrifice fly and a 2-run single by Alex Mailhot gave the Titans a 3-0 lead in the first inning of their game against the Ogdensburg Maples.  Profiting from 2 walks and an infield error, the Montrealers then added 2 runs in the second.  Starter Mikaël Dagenais did not give up a hit over the game's first 4 innings.

The Titans plated 4 more runs in the fifth.  Dagenais was eventually touched for a single in the bottom of that inning, but shut the Maples out in both the fifth and the sixth innings.  The Titans came to bat with a 9-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth and proceeded to send 12 hitters to the plate to add on 6 more runs and end the 6-inning game with a 15-0 victory.

Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 R, 1 2B, 3 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SAC), Alex Mailhot (2/3, 2 R, 3 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB) and Phil Bussières (1/4, 1 R, 1 3B, 3 RBI) all drove in 3 runs.  Tyler Hallas (2/3, 2 R, 1 3B, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 1 SB) and Guillaume Morin (2/3, 2 R, 2 BB, 1 SB) both reached base 4 times.  Mikaël Dagenais (6 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 3 BB, 5 K) registered a one hit victory. 

In their second game of the day, back to back doubles by Jimi Audain and Thomas Rodrigues gave the Titans a 1-0 lead over Mexico/Pulaski in the first inning.  After starter Benoît Ménard again shut Mexico/Pulaski out in the second, the Montrealers sent 10 hitters to the plate to open up a 6-0 lead.  Ménard gave up 2 runs (one unearned) in the fourth and a single run in the fifth.  He then retired all 3 hitters he faced in the sixth.  So, the Titans went to bat in the bottom of that inning with a 6-3 lead.  They then sent 11 hitters to the plate and interspersed 5 singles with 2 walks with 2 hit batters to score 7 runs and end the game in a 13-3 win.

Jimi Audain (3/4, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 HBP) and Thomas Rodrigues (4/4, 1 R, 1 2B, 4 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB) accounted for 7 of their team's 11 hits.  Benoît Ménard (6 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 6 H, 4 BB) pitched solidly to pick up the win.

Sunday, August 7th:  In Sunday's first game, the Titans again got off to an early lead:  Félix Veilleux scored on Thomas Rodrigues' first inning sacrifice fly.  Starter Phil Bussières cruised through the first 3 innings against Post 798.  He then got out of a one-out bases-loaded jam in the fourth before his team took a 3-0 lead on Mike Hiscock's 2-run double in the bottom of that inning.  The Titans added another run in the fifth. 

In the sixth, Post 798 put back to back hits together to cut the lead to 4-1, but the Montrealers extended their lead when Félix Veilleux's 2-run single gave Bussières a 6-1 cushion.  The Titans' starter then shut out Post 798 in the seventh and gave his team their third win of the tournament. 

Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB) and Mike Hiscock (1/2, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB) had 2 RBI games.  Guillaume Morin (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI) and Daniel Thaw (2/2, 1 SAC) both had 2 hits.  Phil Bussières (7 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 H, 4 BB, 4 K) pitched a strong game to pick up the win.

In the championship game aginst Mexico/Pulaski, the Titans once again took a first inning lead:  Jimi Audain's double scored Tyler Hallas.  Mexico/Pulaski picked up an unearned run against starter Sam Lamothe to tie the game in the bottom of the second.  The Titans came back to send 12 hitters to the plate, rapping out 7 singles and scoring 7 runs to extend their lead to 8-1.  Lamothe then had a 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the third. 

Nine Titans went to the plate in the top of the fourth to give their team an 11-1 lead.  Lamothe then cruised through the next 2 innings, striking out the last 3 hitters in the Mexico/Pulaski lineup in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.

The Titans' 13-hit attack featured 2-hit games by Félix Veilleux (2/4, 1 R, 1 RBI), Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI), Thomas Rodrigues (2/4, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Daniel Thaw (2/2, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 HBP, 1 SB).  Winning pitcher Sam Lamothe (5 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 0 BB, 8 K) only gave up 2 hits, both singles in the same inning.

In winning this tournament for the second time in 2 years, Titans' pitching gave up only 3 earned runs over 24 innings.  The Titans' offense scored 45 runs over 23 innings. 

Samedi le 6 août:  Un ballon sacrifice de Thomas Rodrigues et un simple de 2 points d'Alex Mailhot ont permis aux Titans de prendre une avance à la première manche de leur partie initiale.  Les montréalais ont ensuite profité de 2 buts sur balles et une erreur de l'avant-champ de leur adversaire, les Ogdensburg Maples, pour ajouter 2 points à la deuxième manche.  Le partant Mikaël Dagenais s'est montré intraitable, n'accordant aucun coup sûr pendant ses 4 premières manches au monticule. 

Les Titans ont mis 4 points de plus au tableau à la cinquième.  Dagenais a accordé un simple aux Maples à la fin de cette manche, mais il a blanchi Ogdensburg à la fois à la cinquième et à la sixième.  En avance 9-0, les Titans ont envoyé 12 frappeurs au marbre à la de la sixième pour compter 6 points et mettre fin à la partie. 

Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 P, 1 2B, 3 PP, 1 BB, 1 SAC), Alex Mailhot (2/3, 2 P, 3 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV) et Phil Bussières (1/4, 1P, 1 3B, 3 PP) ont chacun produit 3 points.  Tyler Hallas (2/3, 2 P, 1 3B, 2 PP, 2 BB, 1 BV) et Guillaume Morin (2/3, 2 P, 2 BB, 1 BV) se sont rendus sur les buts 4 fois.  Mikaël Dagenais (6 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 3 BB, 5 K) n'a permis qu'un seul coup sûr en enregistrant la victoire.

Des doubles consécutifs de Jimi Audain et Thomas Rodrigues ont permis aux Titans de prendre une avance 1-0 à la fin de la première manche de leur deuxième partie.  Le partant Benoît Ménard a ensuite blanchi l'adversaire Mexico/Pulaski à la deuxième.  Son équipe a immédiatement élargi sa marge de manoeuvre, envoyant 10 frappeurs au marbre et marquant 5 points. 

Mexico/Pulaski a marqué 2 points (un non-mérité) à la quatrième et un point à la cinquième, mais le partant montréalais a lancé une sixième manche sans histoire.  Il a subséquemment vu 11 de ses coéquipiers se faufiler au bâton à la fin de la sixième.  Ils ont confectionné 7 points (à partir de 7 simples, 2 buts sur balles et 2 frappeurs atteints) pour mettre fin à la partie et les Titans ont enregistré une victoire 13-3.

Sept des 11 coups sûrs des montréalais ont été frappé par Jimi Audain (3/4, 2 P, 1 2B, 1 PP, 1 FA) et Thomas Rodrigues (4/4, 1 P, 1 2B, 4 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV).  Benoît Ménard (6 ML, 3 P, 2 PM, 6 CS, 4 BB) a inscrit le gain à son dossier.

Dimanche le 7 août: Dans leur première partie dimanche, les Titans ont encore bien démarré:  à la première manche, Félix Veilleux a croisé le marbre grâce au ballon sacrifice de Thomas Rodrigues.  Le partant Phil Bussières a facilement navigué les 3 premières manches:  l'adversaire Post 798 n'a placé qu'un seul coureur sur les buts.  Il s'est trouvé dans une situation difficile à la quatrième quand l'adversaire a rempli les buts après un retrait.  Mais il s'est échappé de la manche sans permettre de point. 

Un double de Mike Hiscock a produit 2 points à la fin de la quatrième.  Les Titans ont ensuite ajouté un point à la cinquième.  Post 798 a tiré l'avantage de 2 coups sûrs consécutifs pour mettre un premier point au tableau à la sixième.  Mais les montréalais ont immédiatement répliqué à l'aide d'un simple de 2 points de Félix Veilleux.  Fort d'une avance de 6-1, le partant Bussières a fermé la porte au Post 798 à la septième pour procurer la troisième victoire de son équipe au tournoi.

Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 P, 2 PP, 2 BB) et Mike Hiscock (1/2, 1 2B, 2 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV) ont tous les deux produit 2 points.  Guillaume Morin (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP) et Daniel Thaw (2/2, 1 SAC) ont chacun frappé 2 coups sûrs.  Phil Bussières (7 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 4 CS, 4 BB, 4 K) a lancé un match solide pour mériter le gain. 

Dans le match de championnat, les Titans affrontaient Mexico/Pulaski.  Ils ont encore une fois pris une avance à la première manche:  Tyler Hallas a marqué grâce à un double de Jimi Audain.  À la fin de la deuxième, l'adversaire a compté un point non-mérité aux dépens du partant Sam Lamothe.  Les Titans ont ensuite dépêché 12 frappeurs au marbre, marquant 7 points pour porter leur avance à 8-1. 

Lamothe a blanchi Mexico/Pulaski à la fin de la troisième.  Neuf Titans ont frappé à la quatrième pour augmenter l'avance de leur équipe à 11-1.  Lamothe a ensuite allègrement vogué à travers les 2 prochains tours au bâton de l'adversaire, retirant 3 frappeurs sur des prises à la cinquième pour mettre fin à la partie.

Félix Veilleux (2/4, 1 P, 1 PP), Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 P, 1 2B, 2 PP), Thomas Rodrigues (2/4, 2 P, 2 PP) et Daniel Thaw (2/2, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 FA, 1 BV) ont chacun frappé 2 coups sûrs.  Le gagnant Sam Lamothe (5 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 2 CS, 0 BB, 8 K) n'a accordé que 2 coups sûrs, 2 simples à la deuxième manche.

Au cours de ce tournoi, les lanceurs des Titans n'ont permis que 3 points mérités pendant 24 manches de travail.  L'attaque des Titans a marqué 45 points au cours de 23 manches. 

Saturday, July 30th:  In the first game, second inning doubles by Rob Schneidmann and Mike Hiscock followed by an infield out gave the Titans a 2-0 lead on Norfolk.  Starter Sam Lamothe didn't allow a hit and struck out 4 Rovers over the first 2 innings. 

In the top of the third, the Titans put together a walk, 3 hits (including Mike Hiscock's second double of the game) and an infield error to plate 4 runs.  Lamothe again kept the Rovers off the board in the bottom of that inning.  Benjamin Houle-Lecompte and Mikaël Dagenais then each contributed a scoreless inning and the Montrealers cruised to a 6-0 victory in a 5 inning game.

Mike Hiscock (2/2, 2 R, 2 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB) led the Titans' offense.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 R, 1 HBP, 3 SB) had a good day on the base paths.  Callup Bruce Tejada-Sparatani (1/1, 1 RBI, 2 BB) got on base in each of his at bats.  Sam Lamothe (3 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 HBP) was credited with the win. 

In the second game, Norfolk profited from 2 walks and a hit batter to take a 1-0 lead against starter Benoît Ménard in the first inning.  The Rovers then victimized reliever Mikaël Dagenais for a pair of runs in both the second and third innings to take a 5-0 lead.  They added 3 more runs when an error by the Titans' first baseman prolonged reliever Benjamin Houle Lecompte's only inning on the mound.  The Titans managed to load the bases with 2 outs in the fifth, but they only plated one run and, despite strong relief work by righthander Phil Bussières over the game's last 2 innings, they went down to an 8-1 defeat.

Bruce Tejada-Sparatani (2/2, 2 BB) had 2 of the Titans' 5 hits.  Guillaume Morin (1/4, 1 RBI) drove in their only run, a run scored by Daniel Paklarian (1/1, 1 R, 2 BB).  Starter Benoît Ménard (1 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 HBP) took the loss.  Reliever Phil Bussières (2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 5 K) struck out 5 of the 6 batters he faced.

Samedi le 30 juillet:  À la deuxième manche de la première partie, les doubles de Rob Schneidmann et Mike Hiscock suivis d'un retrait à l'avant-champ ont permis aux Titans de prendre une avance de 2-0.  Le partant Sam Lamothe a bien commencé le match, n'accordant qu'un seul coup sûr et retirant 4 frappeurs de Norfolk sur des prises au cours des 2 premières manches. 

Au début de la troisième, les Titans, à l'aide d'un but sur balles, 3 coups sûrs et une erreur de l'avant-champ adverse, ont compté 4 points.  Lamothe a encore dominé les Rovers et, après 3 manches, les Titans se trouvaient en avance 6-0.  Les releveurs Benjamin Houle-Lecompte et Mikaël Dagenais ont ensuite chacun contribué une manche sans point et les Titans ont inscrit une victoire par blanchissage dans cette partie de 5 manches. 

Mike Hiscock (2/2, 2 P, 2 2B, 1 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV) a mené l'attaque montréalaise.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 P, 1 FA, 3 BV) a bien couru les sentiers.  Le recrue Bruce Tejada-Sparatani (1/1, 1 PP, 2 BB) s'est rendu sur les buts à chacune de ses présences au bâton.  Le partant Sam Lamothe (3 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 FA) était crédité de la victoire. 

À la première manche de la deuxième partie, Norfolk a tiré l'avantage de 2 buts sur balles et un frappeur atteint par le partant Benoît Ménard pour prendre une avance 1-0.  Les Rovers ont ensuite bâti une avance de 5-0 après 3 manches, comptant 2 points à 2 manches consécutives aux dépens du releveur Mikaël Dagenais.  Le troisième lanceur des Titans Benjamin Houle-Lecompte n'a pas arrêté la poussée offensive de Norfolk:  Peu aidé par sa défensive, le releveur droitier a accordé 3 points aux Rovers à la quatrième manche.  Les Titans ont rempli les buts avec 2 retraits à la cinquième, mais ils n'ont réussi à marquer qu'un seul point.  Et malgré le soutien de 2 manches solides lancées par le releveur Phil Bussières, ils n'ont jamais ensuite menacé leur adversaire.

Bruce Tejada-Sparatani (2/2, 2 BB) a obtenu 2 des 5 coups sûrs de son équipe.  Guillaume Morin (1/4, 1 PP) a produit le seul point marqué par les Titans.  Daniel Paklarian (1/1, 1 P, 2 BB) s'est rendu sur les buts 3 fois.  La défaite a été portée au dossier du partant Benoît Ménard (1 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 1 CS, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 FA).  Phil Bussières (2 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 0 BB, 5 K) a retiré 5 frappeurs sur des prises au cours de ses 2 manches de travail. 

Friday, July 22nd:  The Titans arrived in New Jersey and played a late game against the Jersey City Jackie Robinson team. 

The Montrealers got on the board first when Rob Schneidmann's 2nd inning double scored Guillaume Morin.  Jersey City then managed to take a 2-1 lead on a walk and 2 singles in their next at bat.  Starter Mikaêl Dagenais was touched for another run in the bottom of the third.  He shut Jersey City out in the fourth and the Titans received a scoreless fifth from Benjamin Houle-Lecompte followed by a scoreless sixth from Benoît Ménard.  But the Montreal offense, possibly weary after a long bus trip, was non-existent over the game's last 3 innings and the Jersey City team was victorious 3-1. 

Rob Schneidmann (1/2, 1 2B, 1 RBI) had the Titans' only hit.  Mikaël Dagenais (4 IP, 3 R, 3 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 1 K) took the loss.

Saturday, July 23rd:  Saturday's game, amputated of a controversial ninth inning, resulted in a close Titans' victory.  Starter Phil Bussières gave his team 5 solid innings, the opponenet Pershing's only run coming on a third inning balk with a runner at third.  Félix Veilleux's bases loaded walk in the second inning accounted for the only Titans' run over Bussières stay on the mound. 

Pershing took the lead in the sixth when reliever Benoît Ménard gave up a solo homerun to the second hitter he faced.  Ménard kept Pershing off the board in both the seventh and the eighth innings.  The Titans, helped by 2 hit batters and 2 passed balls, were able to plate 2 runs on only 2 singles in the eighth to win the 8 inning game. 

Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 2B) had the Titans' only extra base hit.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 R, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 1 SB), Guillaume Morin (1/3, 1 R, 1 HBP) and Tyler Hallas (0/3, 1 R, 1 HBP) scored the Titans' run.  Phil Bussières (5 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K, 2 HBP) and winning pitcher Benoît Ménard (3 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 H, 2 BB, 3 K) both pitched well. 

Sunday, July 24th:  On Sunday, the Titans played 2 games against the Jersey City Sharks.  In the first game, they took a 1-0 lead in the third on back to back hits:  Jimi Audain tripled and came home on Félix Veilleux's  double.  Jersey City came back in the bottom of that same inning when an error by the Titans' first baseman allowed a runner to advance and subsequently score on a 2-out single. 

The game remained knotted at 1-1 until the top of the seventh when Daniel Thaw, who had doubled, scored on a Jersey City infield error.  With a one run lead, starter Sam Lamothe allowed a 2-out single, but that Sharks' runner was forced at second to end the inning and the Montreal starter enjoyed a complete game victory. 

Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 3B, 1 R) and Félix Veilleux (2/4, 1 2B, 1 RBI) both had 2-hit games.  Winning pitcher Sam Lamothe (7 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 5 H, 1 BB, 8 K, 1 HBP) struck out at least one Shark in each inning. 

In the second game, the Sharks tagged starter Benjamin Houle-Lecompte for 3 runs in the second inning and the Titans never overcame this 3-0 deficit.  The Montrealers, who only managed 2 hits over 7 innings, never mounted a threat.  Jersey City added a run in the seventh to celebrate a 4-0 victory. 

Mike Hiscock (1/2) and Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 BB, 1 SB) were the only Titans to record a hit.  Losing pitcher Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (7 IP, 4 R, 4 ER, 6 H, 6 BB, 5 K, 1 HBP), who had only one difficult inning, received no run support. 

Vendredi, le 22 juillet:  Les Titans sont arrivés à la région métropolitaine après un long voyage en autobus.  Ils ont affronté leur premier adversaire, l'équipe Jersey City Jackie Robinson, en soirée. 

Les montréalais se sont inscrits au tableau au début de la deuxième manche:  un double de Rob Schneidmann a poussé Guillaume Morin au marbre.  Mais Jersey City a immédiatement confectionné 2 points (à l'aide d'un but sur balles et 2 simples) pour prendre les devants.  Le partant Mikaël Dagenais a permis un point à la troisième et a quitté le match après 4 manches lancées tirant de l'arrière 3-1. 

Les releveurs Benjamin Houle-Lecompte et Benoît Ménard ont tenu l'opposant en échec à la cinquième et à la sixième, mais leur équipe, vraisemblement fatiguée par un voyage en autobus inutilement prolongé, n'a montré aucun signe de vie offensif pendant les 3 dernières manches.  Par conséquent, les Titans ont encaissé une défaite.

Rob Schneidmann (1/2, 1 2B, 1 PP) a frappé le seul coup sûr des montréalais.  Le lanceur perdant Mikaël Dagenais (4 ML, 3 P, 3 PM, 6 CS, 2 BB, 1 K) a reçu le minimum de soutien offensif. 

Samedi. le 23 juillet:  Le match de samedi, amputé d'une manche controversée, s'est avéré une victoire montréalaise.  Le partant Phil Bussières a lancé 5 manches solides.  Le seul point de l'opposant Pershing est provenu d'une feinte non-réglementaire avec un coureur posté au troisième but.  Quand Bussières quittait le monticule, le match s'est trouvé à l'égalité, le seul point des Titans ayant été marqué à la deuxième manche grâce à un but sur balles avec les buts remplis soutiré par Félix Veilleux.

Pershing a pris les devants à la sixième, quand le releveur Benoît Ménard a accordé un circuit en solo.  Le droitier a ensuite blanchi l'adversaire à la septième et à la huitième.  Les Titans, tirant l'avantage de 2 frappeurs atteints et de 2 balles passées, ont tiré le maximum de 2 simples pour compter 2 fois à la huitième et sortir victorieux de la partie. 

Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 2B) a frappé le seul coup sûr de plus d'un but de son équipe.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 P, 1 PP, 2 BB, 1 BV), Guillaume Morin (1/3, 1 P, 1 FA) et Tyler Hallas (0/3, 1 P, 1 FA) ont marqué les points des Titans.  Le partant Phil Bussières (5 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 4 CS, 2 BB, 6 K, 2 FA) et le lanceur gagnant Benoît Ménard (3 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 2 CS, 2 BB, 3 K) ont tous les deux bien lancé. 

Dimanche, le 24 juillet:  Cette journée, les Titans ont disputé 2 matchs aux Jersey City Sharks.  Dans le premier match, ils ont pris une avance à la troisième:  un double de Félix Veilleux, suite à un triple de Jimi Audain, a mis un point au tableau.  Les Sharks ont égalisé le match à la fin de la même manche:  une erreur du premier but montréalais a permis à un coureur adverse d'avancer pour subséquemment compter à l'aide d'un simple du frappeur suivant. 

La partie est restée à égalité jusqu'à la septième manche:  Daniel Thaw, qui a frappé un double après un retrait, a ensuite croisé le marbre grâce à une erreur de l'avant-champ des Sharks.  Le partant Sam Lamothe a pris le monticule à la fin de la septième pour protéger sa mince avance de 2-1.  Il a accordé un simple après 2 retraits, mais le match a pris fin quand le prochain frappeur s'est commis dans un optionel.

Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 3B, 1 P) et Félix Veilleux (2/4, 1 2B, 1 PP) ont chacun frappé 2 coups sûrs.  Le lanceur gagnant Sam Lamothe (7 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 5 CS, 1 BB, 8 K, 1 FA) a retiré au moins un frappeur sur des prises à chaque manche. 

Dans la deuxième partie, les Sharks ont marqué 3 points aux frais du partant Benjamin Houle-Lecompte à la deuxième manche.  Les Titans se sont montrés incapables de combler ce déficit.  Ils n'ont frappé que 2 maigres simples au cours des 7 manches et n'ont jamais menacé Jersey City.  Le partant montréalais a permis un autre point à la septième et les Titans ont été blanchis 4-0.

Mike Hiscock (1/2) et Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 BB, 1 BV) ont frappé les seuls coups sûrs de leur équipe.  Le lanceur perdant Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (7 ML, 4 P, 4 PM, 6 CS, 6 BB, 5 K, 1 FA), victime d'une offensive peu performante, n'a connu qu'une manche difficile. 

The Titans went a perfect 5-0 to run the table at the Jim Bessette Memorial Tournament in Malone, New York.

Saturday, July 9^th:  The Titans’ first game began well:  leadoff hitter Félix Veilleux tripled and then scored on a passed ball.  The Montrealers picked up a second run in the first inning and added another run in the second.  The Ogdensburg Maples then took advantage of 2 back to back Titans’ errors which prolonged starter Mikaël Dagenais’ second inning to take a 4-3 lead.

Rob Schneidmann was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to tie the game in the top of the third.  Mikaël Dagenais then proceeded to no hit Ogdensburg over the game’s last 5 innings.  Thomas Rodrigues drove in Tyler Hallas with the go ahead run in the fourth and his team added 3 more runs in the sixth to ride the Montreal starter’s pitching to an 8-4 victory.

Thomas Rodrigues (3/4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 SB), Guillaume Morin (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 HBP) and Sal Pistone (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB) each reached base 3 times.  Mikaël Dagenais (7 IP, 4 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 4 BB, 8 K) did not give up an earned run in his 7-inning complete game victory.

In the second game, the Titans struck immediately, sending 11 hitters to the plate to put 5 runs on the board in the top of the first.  Their opponent, Brockway Mechanical, answered by picking up a run against starter Benjamin Houle-Lecompte in its first at bat.  The Montrealers then continued to benefit from sloppy play by their opponent, adding single runs in the second and the third and plating 4 runs in the fourth.  Houle-Lecompte put runners on base in the third and fourth, but kept Brockway from scoring.  The Titans then sent 13 hitters to the plate in the fifth to add 9 runs and bring the score to 20-1.  When the Montreal starter shut Brockway out in the bottom of the fifth, the game ended and the Titans notched their second win of the day.

Félix Veilleux (3/4, 3 R, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 1 HBP, 1 SB) and Jimi Audain (2/4, 3 R, 1 2B, 1 3B, 3 RBI, 1 HBP) both had 2 extra base hits.  Daniel Paklarian (3/4, 2 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB) had 3 hits and reached base 4 times.  Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (5 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 8 K) pitched well and picked up the win.

In the Titans’ third game of the day, Thomas Rodrigues’ 2-out RBI single in the bottom of the first gave them a 1-0 lead against the Malone Blue team.  Starter Benoît Ménard shut Malone down in the top of the second before the Titans sent 11 hitters to the plate to give him a 7-0 lead.

After the right hander again held Malone hitless in the third, the Montrealers repeated their previous inning’s performance to plate 6 runs and extend their lead to 13-0.  The Blue team came back with 3 runs in the top of the fourth and subsequently shut the Titans down in the bottom of that inning.  However, Ménard had an easy fifth and the game then ended with a 13-3 Montreal victory.

Despite scoring 13 runs, the Titans only managed 4 hits, 2 of which came off the bat of Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB).  Jimi Audain (1/2, 2 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI, 1 BB) had the team’s only extra base hit.  Rob Schneidmann (1/3, 1 R, 3 RBI) was credited with 3 RBI’s.  Benoît Ménard (5 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 H, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 HBP) was the winning pitcher.

Sunday, July 10^th:  On Sunday, back to back doubles by Tyler Hallas and Jimi Audain started a 6-run rally in the top of the first inning.  Starter Phil Bussières shut the Malone Gold team down in the bottom of the inning before the Titans added 3 more runs in their next at bat, 2 of these runs courtesy of a homerun by Thomas Rodrigues.

The game remained at 9-0 until the fourth when the Titans put together 2 singles and a double to plate 2 more runs.  Mikaël Dagenais came on to pitch a 3-up 3-down bottom of that inning.  When the Titans failed to score despite a one out double by Daniel Paklarian, Benjamin Houle-Lecompte took over mound duties to close out Malone and his team celebrated an 11-0 win.

The Titans rapped out 13 hits in this contest.  Tyler Hallas (2/4, 1 2B, 1 K), Jimi Audain (2/3, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI), Rob Schneidmann (2/3, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI) and Daniel Thaw (2/3, 1 R, 3 RBI) all had 2-hit games.  Phil Bussières (3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 4 BB, 6 K, 1 HBP) was credited with the win.  Both Mikaël Dagenais and Benjamin Houle-Lecompte each threw one hitless scoreless inning.

The Titans then faced Ogdensburg in the championship game.  They plated runs on back-to-back doubles by Thomas Rodrigues and Guillaume Morin to take a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first.  Starter Sam Lamothe struck out 4 of the first 6 Ogdensburg hitters that he faced, but was touched for an unearned run in the third.  The Titans immediately got that run back on Alex Mailhot’s RBI single. 

After the Montreal starter shut the Maples out in the fourth, the Titans sent 13 hitters to the plate to expand their lead to 13-1.  Lamothe then faced the minimum 3 batters in the fifth to seal a Titans’ victory and give them the championship.

Daniel Thaw (2/4, 1 R, 1 3B, 3 RBI) drove in 3 of his team’s runs.  Sal Pistone (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI) and Mike Hiscock (2/2, 2 R, 1 2B) both had 2-hit games.  Winning pitcher Sam Lamothe (5 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 5 BB, 8 K) one hit Ogdensburg in this final game of the tournament.

Note:  Over 27 innings in the Jim Bessette Memorial Tournament, the Titans’ pitchers only allowed 8 hits and 3 earned runs.

Samedi, le 9 juillet:  Le premier frappeur des Titans à la première manche, Félix Veilleux, a donné le ton au premier match en frappant un triple.  Il s’est ensuite rendu au marbre grâce à une balle passée.  Son équipe a ajouté un autre point à cette manche avant de prendre une avance de 3-0 au début de la deuxième.  Mais à leur deuxième tour au bâton, l’adversaire, les Ogdensburg Maples, a tiré profit des erreurs sur 2 jeux consécutifs pour prolonger la manche et compter 4 points aux dépens du partant Mikaël Dagenais.

Au début de la troisième, Rob Schneidmann a été atteint avec les buts remplis pour faire marquer le point égalisateur du match.  Motivé par ce qui semblait être un nouveau début, le partant montréalais a subséquemment blanchi les Maples au cours des 5 manches suivantes.  Un simple de Thomas Rodrigues a fait compter Tyler Hallas pour briser l’égalité à la quatrième et les Titans ont ajouté 3 points à la sixième pour inscrire un gain de 8-4.

Thomas Rodrigues (3/4, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 BV), Guillaume Morin (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 FA) et Sal Pistone (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 BB) ont chacun atteint les buts 3 fois.   Le lanceur gagnant Mikaël Dagenais (7 ML, 4 P, 0 PM, 1 CS, 4 BB, 8 K) n’a pas permis de point mérité en 7 manches de travail.

Dans la deuxième partie, les Titans ont envoyé 11 frappeurs au marbre pour compter 5 points au début de la première manche.  À son premier tour au bâton, l’adversaire Brockway Mechanical a faiblement répondu, marquant un point aux frais du partant Benjamin Houle-Lecompte. 

Les montréalais ont profité du jeu chancelant de leur opposant, comptant 6 points au cours des 3 manches suivantes.  Le partant montréalais a mis des coureurs sur les buts à la troisième et à la quatrième, mais il s’en est sorti indemne.  Il a ensuite vu 13 de ses coéquipiers defiler au marbre à la cinquième.  Fort d’une avance de 20-1, il a blanchi Brockway à la fin de cette manche pour aider les Titans à inscrire leur deuxième victoire de la journée.

Le droitier montréalais a encore empêché Malone de compter à la troisième et son équipe a récidivé, encore marquant 6 points.  L’équipe Blue a montré des signes de vie en inscrivant 3 points au tableau à la quatrième et en fermant la porte aux Titans à la fin de cette manche.  Mais Ménard a facilement passé à travers 3 frappeurs adverses à la cinquième et les Titans ont fêté un gain de 13-3. 

Les montréalais n’ont frappe que 4 coups sûrs au cours de cette partie, dont 2 par le joueur de l’avant-champ Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 2 P, 2 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV).   Jimi Audain (1/2, 2 P, 1 3B, 1 PP, 1 BB) a obtenu le seul coup sûr de plus d’un but de son équipe.  Rob Schneidmann (1/3, 1 P, 3 PP) a été crédité de 3 points produits.  Benoît Ménard (5 ML, 3 P, 2 PM, 2 CS, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 FA) a lance 5 manches pour mériter la victoire.

Dimanche, le 10 juin:  Dimanche matin, des doubles de Tyler Hallas et Jimi Audain ont mis un ralliement montréalais en branle à la fin de la première manche.  Fort d’une avance de 6 points, le partant Phil Bussières a blanchi l’équipe Malone Gold pour une deuxième manche de suite.  Les Titans ont ajouté 3 points à leur marge à la troisième, 2 de ces points grâce à un circuit frappé par Thomas Rodrigues avant que Malone n’enregistre un seul point. 

Le compte n’a pas ensuite changé jusqu’au début de la quatrième:  quand les Titans ont combine 2 simples et un double pour inscrire 2 points au tableau, ils ont pris une avance de 11-0.  Le droitier Mikaël Dagenais s’est alors présenté au monticule pour lancer une fin de manche sans histoire. 

Malgré un double frappé par Daniel Paklarian après un retrait, les Titans n’ont pas marqué à la cinquième.  Benjamin Houle-Lecompte, envoyé au monticule, a ensuite blanchi l’équipe Gold pour mettre fin à leurs espoirs et consolider la victoire de son équipe.

Tyler Hallas (2/4, 1 P, 1 2B), Jimi Audain (2/3, 2 P, 1 2B, 1 PP), Rob Schneidmann (2/3, 2 P, 1 2B, 1 PP) et Daniel Thaw (2/3, 1 P, 3 PP) ont chacun contribué 2 coups sûrs au total des 13 coups sûrs frappés par leur équipe.  Phil Bussières (3 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 4 BB, 6 K, 1 FA) a été crédité de la victoire.  Dagenais et Houle-Lecompte ont chacun lancé une manche sans point ni coup sûr.  

Dans le match de championnat, les Titans se sont encore mésurés aux Ogdensburg Maples.  Des doubles de Thomas Rodrigues et Guillaume Morin à la fin de la première manche ont permis à leur équipe de prendre une avance 2-0.  Le partant Sam Lamothe, qui a passé 4 des 6 premiers frappeurs adverses dans la mitaine, a accordé un point (non-mérité) à la troisième.  Mais les Titans ont rapidement repris un avantage de 2 points grâce à un simple productif d’Alex Mailhot. 

Lamothe a blanchi Ogdensburg au début de la quatrième et à leur tour au bâton suivant, les Titans ont envoyé 13 frappeurs au marbre pour augmenter leur avance à 13-1.  Le droitier montréalais a ensuite retiré les Maples en ordre à la cinquième pour procurer la victoire et rendre son équipe champion du tournoi.

Daniel Thaw (2/4, 1 P, 1 3B, 3 PP) a produit 3 points.  Sal Pistone (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP) et Mike Hiscock (2/2, 2 P, 1 2B) ont frappé 2 coups sûrs chacun.  Sam Lamothe (5 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 1 CS, 5 BB, 8 K) n’a permis qu’un seul coup sûr dans cette partie de championnat.

Au cours des 27 manches qu’ils ont passé au monticule, les lanceurs des Titans n’ont accordé que 8 coups sûrs et n’ont permis que 3 points mérités.

The July 4^th holiday tournament in Scotia, New York, was cut short by inclement weather.  The Titans were limited to 2 games, both played on July 2^nd.

In the first game, the Schenectady Rangers, benefiting from an error by the Titans’ second baseman, scored 2 runs in their first at bat.  The Montrealers cut the deficit to one run in the bottom of the inning, but were unable to plate a run in the second despite loading the bases with no one out. 

The game remained at 2-1 until the fifth when an error by the Titans’ shortstop, a passed ball and an error by starter Benoît Ménard opened the door to a 3 run Ranger rally.  After the Montrealers failed to score in the bottom of that inning, Schenectady victimized 3 Titans’ relievers (Mikaël Dagenais, Benjamin Houle-Lecompte and Thomas Rodrigues) in the sixth, opening up a lead large enough to merit ending the game. 

Guillaume Morin (2/3) had 2 of his team’s 6 hits.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 RBI) was the only Titan credited with an RBI.  Benoît Ménard (4 IP, 5 R, 1 ER, 6 H, 3 BB, 2 K) took the loss.

In the second game, Félix Veilleux’s first inning solo homerun got the Titans off to a good start, but in its first at bat, the Saratoga Stampede combined 2 walks and 2 singles against starter Phil Bussières to even the score at 1-1.  After plating 2 runs in the third, the Titans profited from Mike Hiscock’s fourth inning solo homerun to open up a 4-1 lead.  The Stampede then used a solo homerun to narrow the gap to 4-2 after 5 innings.

In the sixth, Guillaume Morin, who was hit by a pitch and took third on Thomas Rodrigues’ double, scored on a passed ball to bring the Titans’ lead to 5-2.  But reliever Sam Lamothe, who entered the game to pitch the sixth, then gave up 2 runs (one unearned) without being touched for a hit.  In the top of the seventh, Jimi Audain’s double scored Félix Veilleux to give Lamothe a 2-run cushion and the Titans’ right hander then shut down Saratoga in the seventh to preserve a 6-4 victory.

Félix Veilleux (2/3, 3 R, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB) and Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 SB) both had 2-hit games.  Phil Bussières (5 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 H, 5 BB, 2 K) picked up the win.  Sam Lamothe (2 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 H, 4 BB, 1 K) received credit for a save.

Le tournoi Monsters on the Mohawk, présenté chaque année à Scotia, New York, vers la fête nationale américaine, a été victime des conditions météorologiques difficiles.  Cette année en raison de la pluie, la participation des Titans au tournoi s’est limitée à 2 parties. 

Samedi, le 2 juillet:  Dans le premier match, les Schenectady Rangers ont tiré profit d’une erreur du joueur du deuxième but des Titans pour inscrire 2 points au tableau à la première manche.  Les montréalais ont répliqué en comptant un point à leur premier tour au baton, mais ils ont été incapables de marquer à leur deuxième tour malgré l’avantage d’avoir place 3 coureurs sur les buts sans un seul retrait. 

Ni l’une ni l’autre équipe a ensuite compté jusqu’à la cinquième, manche au début de laquelle les Rangers ont exploité une erreur de l’arrêt court montréalais, une balle passée et une erreur du partant Benoît Ménard pour porter leur avance à 5-1.  Malgré 2 coups sûrs, les Titans n’ont pas compté à la fin de cette manche.  Les Rangers ont véritablement pris le match en main à la sixième, mettant 7 points au tableau aux dépens de 3 releveurs montréalais (Mikaël Dagenais, Benjamin Houle-Lecompte et Thomas Rodrigues).  Selon les règles du tournoi, le match a ainsi pris fin et les Titans ont encaissé une défaite 12-1.

Guillaume Morin (2/3) a obtenu 2 des 6 coups sûrs de son équipe.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 PP) a produit le seul point des Titans.  Benoît Ménard (4 ML, 5 P, 1 PM, 6 CS, 3 BB, 2 K) a porté la défaite à son dossier.

Dans la deuxième partie, l’attaque montréalaise a bien démarré:  Félix Veilleux a frappé un circuit en solo à la première manche.  Mais à son premier tour au bâton l’équipe opposante, la Saratoga Stampede, a combiné 2 buts sur balles et 2 simples aux frais du partant Phil Bussières pour égaliser le match. 

Les Titans ont inscrit 2 points à la troisième et ils ont subséquemment porté leur avance à 4-1 grâce à un circuit en solo de Mike Hiscock à la quatrième.  La Stampede a rétorqué à la manche suivante:  leur seul circuit du match a coupé l’avantage des montréalais à 4-2. 

Au début de la sixième, Guillaume Morin, atteint par un tir adverse, a été poussé au troisième par un double de Thomas Rodrigues pour ensuite compter sur une balle passée.  Mais le releveur Sam Lamothe, qui est entré au match à la fin de la sixième, a accordé 4 buts sur balles au cours de cette manche et Saratoga en a profité pour s’approcher d’un point des Titans.  Les montréalais ont ajouté un point à la septième:  Félix Veilleux a croisé le marbre grâce à un double de Jimi Audain après 2 retraits.  Lamothe a ensuite fermé la porte à la Stampede pour préserver un gain de 6-4.

Félix Veilleux (2/3, 3 P, 1 CC, 2 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV) et Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 2 B, 1 PP, 1 BV) ont tous les deux frappe la balle en lieu sûr 2 fois.  Phil Bussières (5 ML, 2 P, 2 PM, 5 CS, 5 BB, 2 K) a été crédité de la victoire.  Sam Lamothe (2 ML, 2 P, 1 PM, 0 CS, 4 BB, 1 K) a enregistré un sauvetage.

Wednesday, June 29th:  Alex Mailhot drove in Tyler Hallas to give the Titans a 1-0 lead at the beginning of the game, but Norfolk tied the score in the bottom of the first.  The Rovers then took a 5-1 lead on a grand slam after one out in the second.  Starter Geoff Baldwin couldn't get out of the inning and was replaced by Benoît Ménard.  The Titans' reliever succeeded in getting a double play ball and then gave his team 3 innings of shutout pitching. 

The Montrealers picked up a run in the third on Alex Mailhot's second RBI single of the day.  They then cut the lead to 5-3 on Jimi Audain's productive single in the fifth, but were unable to score in the sixth despite loading the bases with 2 outs. 

Right-hander Sam Lamothe took over mound duties in the bottom of the sixth and held Norfolk scoreless over the last 3 innings.  However, the Titans only got one runner on base over their least 3 at bats and were defeated 5-3 in this 9-inning game.

Alex Mailhot (2/4, 2 RBI) and Jimi Audain (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 2 SB) drove in all of the team's runs.  Benoît Ménard (3,2 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 4 K) and Sam Lamothe (3 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 5 K) both did excellent work in relief.  Starter Geoff Baldwin (1,1 IP, 5 R, 5 ER, 5 H, 5 BB, 2 K) was charged with the loss.

Mercredi, le 29 juin:  Alex Mailhot a fait marquer Tyler Hallas pour permettre aux Titans de prendre une avance 1-0 à la première manche.  Mais Norfolk a égalisé le match à son premier tour au bâton.  Les Rovers ont ensuite porté leur avance à 5-1, grâce à un grand chelem qui a ébranlé le partant Geoff Baldwin.  Le droitier montréalais n'obtenu qu'un seul retrait à la deuxième avant de céder sa place à Benoît Ménard.  Ménard a inscrit les 2 retraits nécessaires et il a ensuite blanchi Norfolk pendant les 3 manches suivantes.

Les Titans ont compté une fois à la troisième, Alex Mailhot produisant son deuxième point du match.  Ils ont ensuite coupé le déficit à 5-3 grâce à un simple opportun de Jimi Audain à la cinquième.  Les montréalais ont subséquemment rempli les buts avec 2 retraits au début de la sixième, mais ils étaient incapables de marquer. 

Sam Lamothe s'est présenté au monticule à la fin de la sixième et il a tenu les Rovers en échec pendant 3 manches, faisant face à seulement 10 frappeurs.  Cependant les Titans n'ont placé qu'un seul coureur sur les buts au cours des 3 dernières manches de la partie et ils ont encaissé une défaite de 5-3 dans ce match de 9 manches.

Alex Mailhot (2/4, 2 PP) et Jimi Audain (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 BB, 2 BV) ont produit les points des Titans.  Benoît Ménard (3,2 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 1 BB, 4 K) et Sam Lamothe (3 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 1 BB, 5 K) ont accompli du bon boulot en relève.  Geoff Baldwin (1,1 ML, 5 P, 5 PM, 5 CS, 5 BB, 2 K) a écopé de la défaite.

Friday, June 24th:  In their first game at the Gubby Underwood Tournament, the Titans had at least one runner in scoring position in each of the game's 7 innings.  Unfortunately, they were unable to obtain a timely hit and were shut out by Essex Junction Post 91. 

Starter Sam Lamothe allowed 6 hits over his 6 innings on the mound.  Essex was able to group 2 hits and a walk to produce one run on 2 separate occasions (in the third and the fifth) and that was sufficient for a 2-0 victory. 

The Titans had 5 hits, all singles, in the game.  Lead off hitter Félix Veilleux (0/1, 2 BB, 1 HBP, 2 SB) got on base 3 times.  Sam Lamothe (6 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 6 H, 3 BB, 6 K) took the loss. 

The second inning of their second game was disastrous for the Titans.  Keene Post 4 rapped out 6 hits, including 3 doubles, to plate 6 runs and chase starter Sébastien Tremblay from the game.  Reliever Mikaël Dagenais came in to record the third out of the inning and then prevent Keene from scoring until the sixth inning when the New Hampshire team added 2 unearned runs.

The Titans had put one run on the board in the fifth, followed by another run in the sixth.  But their offense didn't pose any threat to Keene.  Facing a 8-2 deficit in their last at bat, the Montrealers were unable to summon a hit and they had to take their second loss of the day.

Mike Hiscock (2/3, 1 RBI) and Thomas Rodrigues (1/4, 1 RBI) produced their team's two runs.  Sébastien Tremblay (1,2 IP, 6 R, 6 ER, 7 H, 1 BB, 1 K) was charged with the loss.  Mikaël Dagenais (4,1 IP, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 1 BB, 2 K) pitched well in relief. 

Saturday, June 25th:  Daniel Thaw's double scoring Phil Bussières and Benoît Ménard gave the Titans a 2-0 lead against Concord Big Blue in the bottom of the second inning of Saturday afternoon's game.  But  Big Blue answered back immediately, putting 4 runs on the board at the expense of starter Geoff Baldwin. 

The Titans didn't score in the bottom of the third.  Then a 2-out error by the Montreal shortstop opened the door to a 5-run rally and gave Concord a 9-2 lead.  The Titans were unable to obtain more than one hit (a single) over the game's last 4 innings.  Concord picked up an unearned run in the seventh and enjoyed a 10-2 win.

Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 2 HBP, 2 SB), Félix Veilleux (2/3, 1 SB), Daniel Thaw (1/4, 1 2B, 2 RBI) and Benoît Ménard (1/3, 1 R) provided all of their team's offense.  Geoff Baldwin (3,2 IP, 9 R, 4 ER, 6 H, 6 BB) took the loss.  Benoît Ménard (3,1 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 2 BB, 6 K) saw relief duty. 

Sunday, June 26th: The Titans faced a second team from Keene (Keene SBR) on Sunday afternoon.  Their opponent took advantage of an infield error to put a run on the board in the first inning.  Keene then combined 2 walks and 2 singles to take a 2-0 lead in the third. 

The Titans picked up their first run in the fourth, but Keene answered back with another run against starter Phil Bussières in the fifth.  The Montrealers rebounded with their biggest inning of the tournament, sending 6 hitters to the plate to take a 4-3 lead.  In the bottom of the sixth, Bussières, victim of an infield error and a passed ball, was replaced by reliever Sam Lamothe with 2 runners in scoring position and 2 outs.  Lamothe obtained the third out of the inning without allowing Keene to score. 

The Titans loaded the bases with 2 outs in the top of the seventh, but Mike Hiscock was retired on a grounder to third and Lamothe took the mound in the bottom of the inning with a one run lead to protect.  The Montreal reliever struck out each of the 3 hitters he faced and his team celebrated its only win of the tournament. 

Daniel Thaw (0/2, 1 BB, 1 RBI) drove in the Titans' first run.  Rob Schneidmann (1/1, 1 R, 1 2 B, 1 RBI), Phil Bussières (1/3, 1 BB, 1 RBI) and Alex Mailhot (1/1, 1 RBI) produced the runs in the team's sixth inning rally.  Phil Bussières (5,2 IP, 3 R, 2 ER, 6 H, 4 BB, 3 K) picked up the win.  Sam Lamothe (1/1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 3 K) was credited with a save.

Vendredi, le 24 juin:  Dans leur première partie à Keene, New Hampshire, les Titans ont placé au moins un coureur sur les buts à chaque manche.  Mais, ils ont manqué d'opportunisme et aucun montréalais n'a croisé le marbre au cours des 7 manches de la partie.

Le partant Sam Lamothe n'a accordé qu'un coup sûr à Essex Junction Post 91, mais l'adversaire a trouvé le moyen de grouper 2 coups sûrs et un but sur balles à deux occasions (à la troisième et à la cinquième) pour mériter une victoire de 2-0.

Les Titans ont obtenu 5 coups sûrs, tous d'un but.  Félix Veilleux (0/1, 2 BB, 1 FA, 2 BV) s'est rendu sur les buts 3 fois.  Sam Lamothe (6 ML, 2 P, 2 PM, 6 CS, 3 BB, 6 K) a encaissé la défaite.

La deuxième manche de la deuxième partie s'est avérée désastreuse pour les Titans.  L'adversaire Keene Post 4 a frappé 6 coups sûrs (dont 3 doubles) pour compter 6 points et chasser le partant Sébastien Tremblay.  Le releveur Mikaël Dagenais s'est présenté au monticule pour obtenir le troisieme retrait de la manche et il a ensuite empêché Keene de compter jusqu'à la sixième, manche à laquelle l'opposant a ajouté 2 points non-mérités. 

Les Titans se sont inscrits au tableau à la cinquième (un point) et à la sixième (un point).  Mais, leur offensive n'a pas été en mesure de ménacer Keene.  Tirant de l'arrière 8-2 à leur dernier tour au bâton, les montréalais n'étaient pas capable de frapper la balle en lieu sûr et ils ont essuyé leur deuxième revers de la journée.

Mike Hiscock (2/3, 1 PP) et Thomas Rodrigues (1/4, 1 PP) ont produit les 2 points de leur équipe.  Sébastien Tremblay (1,2 ML 6 P, 6 PM, 7 CS, 1 BB, 1 K) a subi la défaite.  Mikaël Dagenais (4,1 ML, 2 P, 0 PM, 2 CS, 1 BB, 2 K) a bien lancé en relève.

Samedi, le 25 juin:  Les Titans ont pris une avance 2-0 à la deuxième manche de leur partie samedi après-midi, Daniel Thaw ayant frappé un double qui a fait marquer Phil Bussières et Benoît Ménard.  Mais l'adversaire, la Concord Big Blue, a vite répliqué, comptant 4 points aux dépens du partant Geoff Baldwin au début de la troisième.

Les Titans n'ont pas marqué à la fin de cette manche.  Ensuite une erreur de l'arrêt-court montréalais après 2 retraits a ouvert la porte à une poussée de 5 points de Big Blue.  Tirant de l'arrière 9-2, les Titans n'ont réussi à frapper qu'un seul coup sûr (un simple) au cours des 4 dernières manches.  Concord a mis un autre point (non-mérité) au tableau à la septième et la partie s'est terminée 10-2. 

Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 2 FA, 2 BV), Félix Veilleux (2/3, 1 BV), Daniel Thaw (1/4, 1 2B, 2 PP) et Benoît Ménard (1/3, 1 P) ont fourni l'offensive de leur équipe.  La défaite s'est inscrite au dossier du partant Geoff Baldwin (3,2 ML, 9 P, 4 PM, 6 CS, 6 BB).  Benoît Ménard (3,1 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 1 CS, 2 BB, 6 K) a bien lancé en relève.

Dimanche, le 26 juin:  Les Titans affrontaient une deuxième équipe de Keene (Keene SBR) dimanche après-midi.  L'adversaire a tiré avantage d'une erreur de l'avant-champ montréalais pour s'inscrire au tableau à la première manche.  Keene a ensuite combiné 2 buts sur balles et 2 simples pour porter son avance à 2-0 à la troisième. 

Les montréalais se sont inscrits au tableau une fois à la quatrième, mais Keene a marqué un autre point aux dépens du partant Phil Bussières à la cinquième.  Les Titans ont ensuite rebondi, envoyant 9 frappeurs au marbre pour prendre une avance 4-3.  À la fin de la sixième, le partant montréalais, victime d'une erreur de l'arrêt-court et d'une balle passée, s'est fait remplacer par le releveur Sam Lamothe avec 2 coureurs en position de marquer et 2 retraits.  Lamothe a obtenu le troisième retrait de la manche sans permettre de point.

Les montréalais ont rempli les buts avec 2 retraits au début de la septième, mais Mike Hiscock était retiré sur un roulant au troisième but et Sam Lamothe faisait face à Keene avec une mince avantage d'un point.  Le droitier a efficacement préservé le match, enregistrant 3 retraits sur des prises, et les Titans ont fêté leur seule victoire du tournoi. 

Daniel Thaw (0/2, 1 BB, 1 PP) a produit le premier point de son équipe.  Rob Schneidmann (1/1, 1 P, 1 2 B, 1 PP), Phil Bussières (1/3, 1 BB, 1 PP) et Alex Mailhot (1/1, 1 PP) ont produit les points dans le ralliement de la sixième manche.  Phil Bussières (5,2 ML, 3 P, 2 PM, 6 CS, 4 BB, 3 K) a mérité la victoire.  Sam Lamothe (1/1 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 0 BB, 3 K) a sauveguardé la partie.

Friday, June 17th:  In Friday afternoon's game, the Lachine A's plated single runs in the second, third and fifth to take a 3-0 lead on the Titans after 5 complete innings.  Up to that point, both teams had been limited to 3 singles, the difference in the game being the 4 walks allowed by Titans' starter Benoît Ménard.  However, Lachine put together 5 singles (4 of which were consecutive) to take a commanding 7-0 lead in the top of the sixth. 

The Titans got a runner on base in the bottom of the sixth, but he never got into scoring position.  Ménard retired the side in order in the top of the seventh, but in their last at bat, the Titans were only able to plate one run and went down to a 7-1 defeat. 

Félix Veilleux (3/3, 1 BB, 1 SB) collected 3 of his team's 5 hits.  Guillaume Morin (0/3, 1 R) scored the Titans' only run which was driven in by Alex Mailhot (1/1, 1 RBI).  Benoît Ménard (7 IP, 7 R, 7 ER, 8 H, 4 BB, 5 K), victim of one difficult inning and little offensive support, took the loss.

Saturday, June 18th:  In Saturday's first game, the Colchester Cannons got off to a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning.  When starter Mikaël Dagenais loaded the bases on 3 consecutive walks after giving up a run in the fifth, Sébastien Tremblay took over mound duties to record Colchester's third out and limit further damage.  The Titans had avanced runners to scoring position in both the third and the fifth innings, but only succeeded in tying the game in the sixth, scoring 2 runs without obtaining a base hit. 

Colchester put a double and a single together for a run in the top of the seventh.  Down to their last at bat, the Titans profited from 2 hit batters and 2 walks to tie game before Mike Hiscock singled to score Félix Veilleux with the winning run.

Guillaume Morin (1/2), Daniel Paklarian (1/3), Mike Hiscock (1/4, 2 RBI) and Félix Veilleux (1/3, 1 R, 1 HBP, 1 SB) accounted for all of the Titans' hits.  Sébastien Tremblay (2,1 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 H, 0 BB, 1 K) picked up the win in relief of starter Mikaël Dagenais (4,2 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 H, 4 BB, 2 K).

In Saturday's second game, the Titans and the Saratoga Stampede were tied 0-0 after 4 innings, Andy De Fanti's single being the game's only base hit.  The contest abruptly changed in the fifth when the Titans sent 9 hitters to the plate in a rally which was highlighted by a bases clearing double by Jimi Audain.

With a 5-0 lead, starter Sam Lamothe cruised through Saratoga's 3 remaining at bats.  The Titans added another run in the top of the seventh and the game ended in a 6-0 victory for the Montrealers.

Jimi Audain (3/4, 1 R, 2 2B, 4 RBI, 1 SB) led the Titans' offense.  Phil Bussières (1/3, 1 R) scored the Titans' first run.  Sam Lamothe (7 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 HBP) recorded an outstanding shut out victory. 

Sunday, June 19th:  The Titans were held to only one hit (a double by Daniel Paklarian) and 3 base runners over the first 5 innings of a rematch against Saratoga.  Yet the game was tied 0-0 going into the sixth, starter Phil Bussières and relievers Benjamin Houle-Lecompte and Sébastien Tremblay combining to allow the Stampede only one single and 3 walks. 

However, Saratoga then took a solid lead with a 4-run uprising in the sixth against reliever Geoff Baldwin.  After the Titans were shut out in the bottom of that inning, the Stampede plated 3 more runs against call-up Andy De Fanti in the top of the seventh.  The Titans drew 2 walks in their fnal at bat, but were unable to score and Saratoga recorded a 7-0 victory.

Daniel Paklarian (1/3, 1 2B) and Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 BB, 1 SB) had the Titans' only hits.  Phil Bussières (3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 HBP), Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (1,2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB) and Sébastien Tremblay (0,1 IP, 0 R) kept their team in the game over 5 innings.

Vendredi, le 17 juin:  Dans le match de vendredi après-midi, les A's de Lachine ont inscrit un point à 3 occasions séparées au cours des 5 premières manches pour devancer les Titans 3-0.  Chaque équipe n'avait frappé que 3 simples, mais Lachine a exploité les 4 buts sur balles accordés par le partant des Titans Benoît Ménard pour confectionner ses points. 

Au début de la sixième, la partie a mal tourné:  Lachine a mis 5 simples ensemble pour porter le compte à 7-0.  Le seul coureur des Titans, à la fin de la sixième, ne s'est jamais rendu au deuxième but.  Ménard a retiré l'adversaire en ordre à la septième, mais à leur dernier tour au bâton, les Titans n'ont marqué qu'un point et ils ont encaissé une défaite de 7-1.

Félix Veilleux (3/3, 1 BB, 1 BV) a frappé 3 des 5 coups sûrs de son équipe.  Le seul point des Titans, marqué par Guillaume Morin (0/3, 1 P), a été produit par Alex Mailhot (1/1, 1 PP).  Benoît Ménard (7 ML, 7 P, 7 PM, 8 CS, 4 BB, 5 K), victime d'une manche difficile et de peu de soutien offensif, a encaissé le revers.

Samedi, le 18 juin:  Dans la première partie de samedi, les Colchester Cannons ont pris une avance de 1-0 à la troisième manche.  Au début de la cinquième, le partant Mikaël Dagenais a accordé un autre point à Colchester et il a quitté le match dans une situation précaire, les Cannons ayant rempli les buts grâce à 3 buts sur balles consécutifs après 2 retraits.  Le droitier Sébastien Tremblay, qui l'a remplacé au monticule, a inscrit le troisième retrait de la manche sans permettre d'autres points à l'adversaire.  Les Titans avaient placé des coureurs en position de marquer à la troisième et à la cinquième, mais c'était à la sixième qu'ils ont trouvé le moyen d'égaliser la partie, marquant 2 points sans frapper un seul coup sûr. 

Colchester a combiné un double et un simple pour reprendre les devants 3-2 au début de la septième.  Rendus à leur dernier tour au bâton, les Titans ont exploité la générosité des lanceurs de Colchester (2 BB, 2 FA) pour égaliser le match avant de voir Mike Hiscock frapper un simple qui a poussé Félix Veilleux au marbre avec le point de la victoire.

Guillaume Morin (1/2), Daniel Paklarian (1/3), Mike Hiscock (1/4, 2 PP) et Félix Veilleux (1/3, 1 P, 1 FA, 1 BV) étaient les seuls Titans à frapper la balle en lieu sûr.   Sébastien Tremblay (2,1 IP, 1 P, 1 PM, 2 CS, 0 BB, 1 K), qui a pris la relève du partant Mikaël Dagenais (4,2 ML, 2 P, 2 PM, 5 CS, 4 BB, 2 K) a été crédité du gain.

Samedi après-midi, les Titans et leur adversaire, le Saratoga Stampede, se sont trouvés à l'égalité 0-0 après 4 manches de jeu, un simple du recrue Andy De Fanti étant le seul coup sûr du match.  La partie a rapidement viré du côté des Titans à la cinquième:  ils ont envoyé 9 frappeurs au marbre pour prendre les devants 5-0.   

Le partant Sam Lamothe, profitant d'une avance solide, a espacé 3 coups sûrs au cours des 3 dernières manches.  Les Titans ont inscrit un dernier point au tableau à la septième et ils ont fêté un gain de 6-0. 

Jimi Audain (3/4, 1 P, 2 2B, 4 PP, 1 BV), qui a frappé un double pour produire 3 points dans le ralliement de son équipe à la cinquième, a mené l'attaque montréalaise.  Phil Bussières (1/3, 1 P) a compté le premier point des Titans.  Sam Lamothe (7 ML, 0 P, 3 CS, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 FA) a lancé une autre partie solide pour mériter la victoire.

Dimanche, le 19 juin:  Dans leur dernière partie du tournoi, les Titans se mesuraient encore à Saratoga.  Au cours des 5 premières manches, ils étaient limités à un coup sûr (un double de Daniel Paklarian) et ils n'avaient placé que 3 coureurs sur les sentiers.  Pourtant, au début de la sixième, le match se trouvait à égalité 0-0, car le partant Phil Bussières et les releveurs Benjamin Houle-Lecompte et Sébastien Tremblay n'ont accordé qu'un coup sûr (un simple) et 3 buts sur balles à l'adversaire. 

Cependant, le Stampede s'est mis à frapper à la sixième, marquant 4 points aux dépens du releveur Geoff Baldwin.  Les Titans n'ont pas compté à leur tour suivant.  Saratoga est revenu à la charge à la septième, ajoutant 3 autres points aux frais du recrue Andy De Fanti.  Les Titans ont soutiré 2 buts sur balles à leur dernier tour au bâton, mais aucun coureur montréalais n'a atteint le marbre et Saratoga a remporté la victoire 7-0.

Daniel Paklarian (1/3, 1 2B) et Félix Veilleux (1/2, 1 BB, 1 BV) ont obtenu les seuls coups sûrs des Titans.  Phil Bussières (3 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 2 BB, 1 FA), Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (1,2 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 1 BB) et Sébastien Tremblay (0,1 ML, 0 P, 0 CS, 0 BB) ont réussi à garder leur équipe dans le match pendant 5 manches. 

Saturday, June 11th:  The Titans began the tournament with a strong first inning, sending 9 hitters to the plate and taking a 4-0 lead on Malone.  In the second inning, Félix Veilleux's walk, followed by his 2 stolen bases and Jimi Audain's single, put another run on the board.

The Montrealers continued their offensive push in the third, sending 8 hitters to the plate to increase their lead to 7-0.  Starter Benoît Ménard allowed Malone runners to reach scoring position in each of the first 3 innings, but he got stronger as the game advanced and did not permit a single base runner over the rest of the game.  The Titans added another run in the fifth when Félix Veilleux scored on Jimi Audain's double and, with the Titans' starter cruising on the mound, the game ended 8-0 in the requisite 7 innings.

Benoît Ménard (7 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 10 K) struck out at least one hitter in each inning and recorded a 2-hit shutout victory.  Rob Schneidmann (1/5, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI) produced the game's first run.  Daniel Paklarian (1/4, 2 RBI) helped set the offensive tone with an important 2-run single in the first.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 3 R, 1 RBI, 3 BB, 5 SB) had an outstanding day on the base paths.  Daniel Thaw (3/3, 1 R, 2 2B, 1 BB) reached base in each of his at bats.  Jimi Audain (2/3, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 2 SB) also reached base 4 times. 

In the second game, the Titans sent 9 hitters to the plate in each of the first 2 innings to take a quick 8-0 lead over Heuvelton.  They then added a run in the third.  Starter Mikaël Dagenais only allowed 2 hits (both singles) and walked only one batter over 5 innings.  When the Titans added another run in the fifth, the game ended and Montreal pitching had recorded its second shutout of the day.

Winning pitcher Mikaël Dagenais (5 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 9 K) struck out Heuvelton hitters in each inning and finished the game by getting 3 strikeouts in the fifth.  Thomas Rodrigues (3/4, 2 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 SB), Alex Mailhot (2/3, 2 2B, 3 RBI) and Phil Bussières (2/2, 2 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 2 SB) led the Titans' run production.  Daniel Paklarian (1/1, 2 R, 1 RBI, 2 BB) and Mike Hiscock (2/4, 2 R) both scored twice.

Sunday, June 12th:  The Titans continued to profit from excellent pitching in the third game of the tournament.  The first Clinton County hitter reached base on an infield error and ultimately scored on a 2-out single.  The Montrealers tied the game in the bottom of the first on Thomas Rodrigues' 2-out RBI double.  Starter Sam Lamothe then allowed just one hit (a single) in shutting out the Mariners in the next 6 innings.  Meanwhile, after being kept off the board in the second and the third, the Titans plated 5 runs over the next 3 innings to coast to a 6-1 victory. 

Félix Veilleux (1/3, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 SB) scored the Titans' first run.  Phil Bussières (2/3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 SB) had 2 of the Montrealer's 6 hits.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/2, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 HBP, 1 SB) reached base 3 times.  Sam Lamothe (7 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 1 BB, 8 K, 1 HBP) pitched 7 solid innings to pick up the win.

In their fourth game of the tournament, the Titans faced Granville Post.  They profited from sloppy defense by their opponents to take a 2-0 lead in the third.  In the fourth, Daniel Paklarian's 2-out double scored Mike Hiscock to increase the lead to 3-0.  The Titans then combined a walk, 2 passed balls and 2 singles to add 2 more runs in the top of the fifth.  Starter Sébastien Tremblay, who only allowed one hit in his 5 innings on the mound, then shut Granville down in the bottom of that inning.

The Montrealers picked up another run in the sixth when Hiscock walked, reached third on Paklarian's second double of the game and later scored on Jimi Audain's single.  Reliever Geoff Baldwin, who took over pitching duties in the bottom of that inning, then allowed Granville to put 2 runs (one unearned) on the board.  The Titans added another run in the seventh to take a 7-2 lead.  Phil Bussières then shut Granville down in order (and registered 2 strikeouts) to end the game and preserve his team's perfect slate over the tournament. 

Daniel Paklarian (2/3, 2 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB), Mike Hiscock (2/3, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB) and Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 SB) accounted for 6 of the Titans' 8 hits.  Starter Sébastien Tremblay (5 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 2 K) gave the team another quality start and picked up the win.

Montreal pitching was outstanding in this tournament, allowing just 8 hits and one earned run over 4 games.

Samedi, le 11 juin:  Dans la première partie, l'attaque des Titans a bien démarré, envoyant 9 frappeurs au marbre à la première manche pour prendre une avance 4-0 sur Malone.  À la deuxième, les montréalais ont inscrit un autre point au tableau:  Félix Veilleux a soutiré un but sur balle et, après avoir volé deux buts, il a croisé le marbre à l'aide d'un simple de Jimi Audain. 

L'offensive des Titans a continué à bien travailler à la troisième:  8 frappeurs ont défilé au marbre pour porter le compte à 7-0.  Malone a réussi à metre un coureur en position de marquer à chacune des 3 premières manches, mais le partant Benoît Ménard s'est ensuite montré invincible.  À partir de la quatrième manche, il n'a permis à aucun coureur d'atteindre le premier but.  Les Titans ont ajouté un autre point à la cinquième et ils ont inscrit une victoire de 8-0 après 7 manches.

Rob Schneidmann (1/5, 1 P, 1 2B, 2 PP) a fait marquer le premier point des Titans.  Daniel Paklarian (1/4, 2 PP) a donné le ton au match en frappant un simple de 2 points à la première manche.  Félix Veilleux (1/2, 3 P, 1 PP, 3 BB, 5 BV) s'est distingué sur les sentiers en volant 5 buts.  Daniel Thaw (3/3, 1 P, 2 2B, 1 BB) s'est rendu sur les buts à chacune de ses présences au bâton et Jimi Audain (2/3, 1 P, 1 2B, 2 PP, 2 BB, 2 BV) s'est également rendu sur les buts 4 fois.

Benoît Ménard (7 ML, 0 P, 2 CS, 1 BB, 10 K), qui a retiré un frappeur sur 3 prises à chaque manche, n'a permis que 2 coups sûrs en route de sa victoire.

Dans le deuxième match de la journée, les Titans ont envoyé 9 frappeurs au marbre à chacune des 2 premières manches pour prendre les devants 8-0 sur Heuvelton.  Ils ont ensuite ajouté un autre point à la troisième.  Le partant Mikaël Dagenais n'a permis que 2 coups sûrs (2 simples) et un but sur balles au cours de ses 5 manches de travail.  Quand les Titans ont marqué leur dixième point (à la cinquième), la partie s'est terminée et l'équipe a enregistré son deuxième blanchissage de la journée.

Thomas Rodrigues (3/4, 2 P, 1 2B, 2 PP, 1 BV), Alex Mailhot (2/3, 2 2B, 3 PP) et Phil Bussières (2/2, 2 P, 2 PP, 1 BB, 2 BV) ont mené l'attaque des Titans.  Daniel Paklarian (1/1, 2 P, 1 PP, 2 BB) et Mike Hiscock (2/4, 2 P) ont chacun marqué 2 fois. 

Le droitier Mikaël Dagenais (5 ML, 0 P, 2 CS, 1 BB, 9 K) a enregistré un retrait sur 3 prises à chaque manche et a terminé sa journée sur le monticule en retirant 3 frappeurs en ordre à la cinquième. 

Dimanche, le 12 juin:  Pour débuter la partie, le premier frappeur des Clinton County Mariners s'est rendu au premier grâce à une erreur de l'avant-champ montréalais.  Il a ensuite marqué pour donner une avance de 1-0 aux Mariners avant que les Titans se présentent au bâton.  Mais, à la fin de la manche, un double de Thomas Rodrigues a produit le point qui a égalisé le match.

Les Titans ont ensuite tiré profit du travail du partant Sam Lamothe.  Le droitier n'a permis qu'un coup sûr (un simple) pendant les 6 manches suivantes.  Les montréalais ont ramassé des points à 3 manches consécutives et ils ont enregistré un gain de 6-1 dans leur troisième partie du tournoi.

Félix Veilleux (1/3, 1 P. 1 BB, 1 BV) a compté le premier point des Titans.  Phil Bussières (2/3, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 BV) a obtenu 2 des 6 coups sûrs de son équipe.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/2, 1 P, 1 2B, 1 PP, 2 FA, 1 BV) s'est rendu sur les buts 3 fois.  Sam Lamothe (7 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 2 CS, 1 BB, 8 K, 1 FA), très solide au monticule, a inscrit la victoire à son dossier.

Dans leur dernière partie du tournoi, les Titans ont exploité les carences défensives de leur adversaire Granville pour prendre une avance de 2-0 à la troisième manche.  Un double de Daniel Paklarian, qui a fait marquer Mike Hiscock, a ensuite porter le compte à 3-0 à la quatrième.  À la manche suivante, les montréalais ont combiné un but sur balles, 2 balles passéés et 2 simples pour enregistrer 2 points supplémentaires.  Le partant Sébastien Tremblay a continué à bien lancer et, après 5 manches, les Titans profitaient d'une avance de 5-0.  Ils ont encore marqué un point au début de la sixième, mais le releveur Geoff Baldwin, qui est entré au match pour lancer la fin de la manche, a permis à Granville de compter 2 fois.

Les Titans ont vite répliqué, exploitant une erreur de l'avant-champ de leur adversaire pour ajouter un autre point et porter le compte à 7-2.  Le droitier Phil Bussières s'est ensuite présenté au monticule pour terminer la partie, faisant face à seulement 3 frappeurs et inscrivant 2 retraits sur 3 prises.

Daniel Paklarian (2/3, 2 2B, 1 PP, 1 BB) a frappé 2 doubles importants.  Mike Hiscock (2/3, 2 P, 1 2B, 1 PP, 1 BB) et Jimi Audain (2/4, 1 P, 1 PP, 1 BV) ont également frappé 2 coups sûrs chacun.  Sébastien Tremblay (5 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 2 BB, 2 K) a lancé 5 manches solides pour mériter la victoire.

Il faut noter le travail exceptionnel des lanceurs des Titans au cours de ce tournoi.  Pendant les 4 parties disputées par leur équipe, ils n'ont permis que 8 coups sûrs et un point mérité. 

Sunday, June 5th:  In the first game, two Montreal infield errors helped Schenectady to take a 1-0 lead in the second inning.  The Titans tied the game in the fourth when Thomas Rodrigues scored on a sacrifice fly by Rob Schneidmann.  Starter Benoît Ménard held the Indians to 3 singles over the first 5 innings.  The Titans' offense supported him by rallying for 4 runs in the sixth, Phil Bussières and Daniel Thaw providing key run-producing hits. 

Schenectady cut the Montreal lead to 5-3 by plating 2 runs (one unearned) in its next at bat.  The Titans were shut down in order in the seventh and the Indians put a walk and 3 hits together in the bottom of that inning to tie the game. 

Thomas Rodrigues led off the Titans' eighth inning with a walk, but the next 3 hitters in the lineup were easily retired and he was left stranded.  Then, an error by Titans' second baseman opened the door for the Indians.  Benoît Ménard, still at work in the eighth, got an out, but he gave up a single and a walk to load the bases.  The fifth Schenectady batter of the inning then hit a single to plate the winning run.

Phil Bussières (2/4, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI) drove in 2 runs with a sixth inning double.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 R, 1 BB, 2 SB) got on base twice.  Benoît Ménard (7,1 IP, 6 R, 3 ER, 9 H, 5 BB, 3 K) took the loss.

After Schenectady scored a run in the first inning of the second game, the Titans answered back quickly by plating 3 runs in the second.  Then, the Indians profited from 5 walks accorded by Montreal starter Geoff Baldwin to put together 6 runs and take a 7-3 lead after 2 innings. 

The Titans put a run on the board in the fourth, but the Indians came back with 3 runs against reliever Benjamin Houle-Lecompte in the fifth.  Félix Veilleux and Jimi Audain each had rbi singles in the sixth to cut the deficit to 10-6, but Schenectady added 3 more runs in their next at bat.  The Titans went down in order in the seventh and took a 13-6 loss.

Félix Veilleux (2/3, 1 2B, 1 R, 3 RBI, 1 BB), who had a 2-run double in the second, was the team's most productive hitter.  Guillaume Morin (2/3, 2 R) and Daniel Thaw (2/2, 2 R, 1 BB) each had 2 hits.  Starter Geoff Baldwin (4 IP, 7 R, 6 ER, 4 H, 9 BB, 2 K) was charged with the loss.  Benjamin Houle-Lecompte (2 IP, 6 R, 5 ER, 2 H, 4 BB, 2 K, 2 HBP) pitched 2 innings of relief.

Dimanche, le 5 juin:  Deux erreurs de l'avant-champ montréalais ont aidé Schenectady à prendre les devants 1-0 à la deuxième manche de la première partie.  Les Titans ont égalisé le compte à la quatrième, Thomas Rodrigues marquant sur un ballon sacrifice de Rob Schneidmann.  Le partant Benoît Ménard, qui a espacé 3 maigres coups sûrs au cours des 5 premières manches, a vu son équipe monter une poussée offensive à la sixième:  Phil Bussières et Daniel Thaw ont récolté des points produits et les Titans ont pris une avance de 5-1.  Mais, Schenectady est revenu dans le match en marquant 2 points (un non-mérité) à son prochain tour au bâton.  Après avoir retiré les montréalais en ordre à la septième, les Indiens ont combiné un but sur balles et 3 coups sûrs pour égaliser le match.

La prolongation n'a pas duré longtemps.  Thomas Rodrigues a commencé la huitième en soutirant un but sur balles, mais les 3 frappeurs suivants n'ont pas réussi à le faire marquer.  Une erreur du deuxième but des Titans a ensuite ouvert la porte aux Indiens.  Le partant Benoît Ménard, encore au monticule, a obtenu un premier retrait, mais il a accordé un but sur balles et un simple pour remplir les buts et le cinquième frappeur de la manche a subséquemment fait marquer le point de la victoire.

Phil Bussières (2/4, 1 P, 1 2B, 2 PP) a produit 2 points en frappant un double à la sixième manche.  Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 P, 1 BB, 2 BV) s'est rendu sur les buts 2 fois.  Benoît Ménard (7,1 IP, 6 P, 3 PM, 9 CS, 5 BB, 3 K) a encaissé la défaite.

Après que Schenectady a marqué un point à la première manche, les Titans ont vite rétorqué à la deuxième, marquant 3 points, dont 2 d'un double de Félix Veilleux.  Mais, les Indiens sont revenus en force.  Ils ont profité de 5 buts sur balles accordés par le partant Geoff Baldwin pour monter une grosse manche et prendre une avance de 7-3. 

Les Titans ont compté un point à la quatrième, mais les Indiens ont réussi à marquer 3 fois aux dépens du releveur Benjamin Houle-Lecompte à la cinquième.  Des simples de Félix Veilleux et Jimi Audain ont produit 2 points à la sixième pour porter le compte à 10-6.  Mais, les Indiens ont encore creusé l'écart entre les 2 équipes en marquant 3 fois à la fin de la manche.  Les montréalais ont été retiré en ordre à la septiéme et ils ont subi une défaite 13-6.

Saturday, June 4th:  The Titans got on the board early in the first game:  Rob Schneidmann's single scored Tyler Hallas with the first run of the game.  They picked up another run in the second when Félix Veilleux's double plated Benoît Ménard.  Starter Sébastien Tremblay cruised through the first 3 innings, but allowed Clinton County to tie the game in the bottom of the fourth. 

Jimi Audain led off the top of the fifth with a double and scored on Thomas Rodrigues' single.  Rodrigues was later caught stealing, but Schneidmann, who walked, eventually came home on Phil Bussières' double to give the Titans a 2-run lead.  Two Montreal errors allowed the Mariners to cut the deficit to 4-3 in the bottom of that inning.  The Titans added another run in the sixth, Félix's second double of the game scoring Benoît Ménard.  Reliever Benjam (1,1 IP, in Houle-Lecompte, who had replaced Tremblay to record the last out of the fifth, then loaded the bases with one out.  Right-hander Phil Bussières came in to get 2 outs without allowing a Mariner to cross the plate.

The Montrealers didn't score in the seventh.  After giving up a lead off homerun, Bussières was victimized by a combination of control issues and suspect defense.  The Mariners rallied for 2 runs without a hit to win the game 6-5.

The Titans' 8-hit attack featured 4 doubles, including 2 by Félix Veilleux (2/4, 2 2B, 2 RBI).  Tyler Hallas (0/1, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 SB, 1 HBP), Jimi Audain (1/2, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 BB) and Thomas Rodrigues (1/2, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB, 1 HBP) each reached base 3 times.  Reliever Phil Bussières (1,2 IP, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K, 2 HBP) was tagged with the loss.

In the second game, the Titans again took an early lead on Clinton County.  Jimi Audain's 2-run double capped a 4-hit 3-run third inning.  In the fourth, a hit batter and 2 singles cost starter Sam Lamothe a run (despite his recording 3 strikeouts in the inning). 

Down 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, the Mariners put together a lead off single and 3 walks to score a run and chase the Titans' starter after 2 outs.  Reliever Mikaël Dagenais then gave up a 2-run double before recording the inning's final out.  Neither team scored in the sixth.  Behind 4-3 in the top of the seventh, the Titans loaded the bases by drawing 3 walks after 2 outs, but Rob Schneidmann was called out on a third strike to end the game.

Jimi Audain (2/3, 1 R, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB), Thomas Rodrigues (1/3, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB) and Daniel Paklarian (1/3, 1 2B, 1 R) each had extra base hits.  Starter Sam Lamothe (4,2 IP, 4 R, 4 ER, 5 H, 3 BB, 7 K, 1 HBP) took the loss.  Mikaël Dagenais (1,1 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K) finished the game on the mound for the Titans.

Jimi Audain a commencé la cinquième en frappant un coup de 2 buts, un simple de Thomas Rodrigues l'a poussé au marbre.  Rodrigues était retiré en tentative de vol, mais Schneidmann, qui a soutiré un but sur balles, a subséquemment croisé le marbre à l'aide d'un double de Phil Bussières.  Deux erreurs de l'avant-champ des Titans ont ensuite permis à Clinton County de s'approcher d'un point des Titans.

À la sixième, Félix Veilleux a récolté son deuxième point produit du match pour porter le compte à 5-3.  Le releveur Benjamin Houle-Lecompte, qui a remplacé Tremblay pour enregistrer le dernier retrait de la cinquième, a connu des ennuis à la sixième, remplissant les buts avec seulement un retrait.  Le droitier Phil Bussières s'est alors présenté au monticule pour étouffer la ménace, obtenant 2 retraits sans permettre aux Mariners de compter. 

Les Titans n'ont pas compté à la septième.  Le premier Mariner de se présenter au bâton à la fin de cette manche a frappé un coup de circuit.  Ensuite, une manque de contrôle du releveur droitier, combiné avec une défensive chancelante, a donné 2 points à l'adversaire et Clinton County a remporté la victoire 6-5.

Tirant de l'arrière 3-1 à la cinquième, Clinton County a mis un simple et 3 buts sur balles ensemble pour compter un point et chasser le partant montréalais (après 2 retraits).  Le releveur Mikaël Dagenais a ensuite permis un double de 2 points avant d'enregistrer le dernier retrait de la manche.  Ni l'une ni l'autre équipe n'a marqué à la sixième.  En déficit d'un point à leur dernier tour au bâton, les Titans ont rempli les buts avec 2 retraits, mais Rob Schneidmann a été retiré sur 3 prises (sur décision) pour mettre fin à la partie.

Sunday, May 29th:  In game one of this doubleheader, Brockville took a lead in the first inning by putting a walk, a stolen base and a single together to plate a run before Benoît Ménard recorded an out.  The Montreal starter was solid from this point until the Bunnies added another run in the fourth on a walk and 2 hits.  Meanwhile, the Titans were kept off the scoreboard.  Their offense showed a little life in the third, but Thomas Rodrigues was retired at home trying to score from second on an Alex Mailhot single and the rally died. 

After the Montrealers failed to score in the fifth, Mike Bélanger, who replaced Ménard after 4 innings, was touched for 4 runs.  The 6-0 deficit proved too much for the visitors to overcome.  They weren't able to score over the game's last 2 innings and Brockville recorded a 6-0 shutout. 

Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 1 BB, 1 SB), Geoff Baldwin (1/2) and Alex Mailhot (1/3) accounted for the Titans' 4 hits.  Benoît Ménard (4 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 H, 3 BB, 2 K) was tagged with the loss. 

A big inning helped the Titans procure a victory in the 9-inning second game.  They took an early 1-0 lead without a base hit.  Brockville came back with 2 runs (one unearned) against starter Sébastien Tremblay and reliever Benjamon Houle-Lecompte in the third.  The visitors then sent 10 batter to the plate in the top of the fourth and combined 3 walks, 2 hits and a Brockville error to score 5 runs. 

The Bunnies got a run back against reliever Phil Bussières in the bottom of the fourth, but Bussières and right-hander Sam Lamothe joined forces to shut Brockville out over the next 4 innings.  So the Titans, although held to one hit over the last 5 innings of the game, went into the bottom of the ninth with a 6-3 lead.  The Bunnies then put 2 singles, a walk and a Titans' error together to plate 2 runs, but Lamothe succeeded in ending the threat and preserving a 6-5 win.

Rob Schneidmann (2/4, 1 R, 1 HBP), Alex Mailhot (1/5, 1 2B, 1 R) and Tyler Hallas (1/3, 1 R, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 1 SB) provided the Titans' offense.  Félix Veilleux (0/2, 1 RBI, 3 BB, 1 SB) reached base 3 times.  Phil Bussières (3 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 HBP) picked up the win.  Sam Lamothe (3 IP, 2 R, 1 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 4 K) was credited with the save.

Dimanche, le 29 mai:  Les Bunnies ont vite passé à l'attaque à la première partie, marquant un point sur un but sur balles, un but volé et un simple avant que le droitier Benoît Ménard ne réussisse un seul retrait.  Ensuite, le partant montréalais s'est montré solide jusqu'à la quatrième, manche pendant laquelle Brockville a ajouté un autre point. 

Mais, le seul coureur des Titans qui s'est trouvé en position de marquer au cours des 5 premières manches, Thomas Rodrigues, n'a pas atteint le marbre et Brockville s'est présenté au bâton à la fin de la cinquième en avance 2-0.  Les Bunnies ont ensuite ajouté 4 points aux dépens du releveur Mike Bélanger.  Ce déficit de 6 points s'est avéré impossible de combler et les Titans ont encaissé une défaite de 6-0.

Thomas Rodrigues (2/2, 1 BB, 1 BV), Geoff Baldwin (1/2) et Alex Mailhot (1/3) ont frappé la balle en lieu sûr.  La défaite s'est inscrite au dossier du partant Benoît Ménard (4 ML, 2 P, 2 PM, 3 CS, 3 BB, 2 K). 

Les Titans ont commencé le deuxième match (9 manches) en marquant un point sans frapper un seul coup sûr.  Brockville a ensuite mis 2 points (un non-mérité) au tableau aux dépens du partant Sébastien Tremblay et du releveur Benjamin Houle-Lecompte à la troisième manche.  Les montréalais ont entamé une poussée décisive à leur tour au bâton à la quatrième, envoyant 10 frappeurs au marbre et marquant 5 points à l'aide de 3 buts sur balles, 2 coups sûrs et une erreur des Bunnies. 

À son entrée au match à la fin de la quatrième, le releveur Phil Bussières a quelque peu manqué de contrôle de ses tirs et Brockville a mis un autre point au tableau.  Mais Bussières et le droitier Sam Lamothe ont ensuite réuni leurs efforts pour blanchir l'adversaire au cours des 4 manches suivantes.  Ainsi, les Titans, malgré une offensive tenue en échec pendant les 5 dernières manches de la partie, profitaient d'une avance de 6-3 quand les Bunnies ont passé à leur dernier frappe.  Brockville a combiné 2 simples, un but sur balles et une erreur des montréalais pour inscrire 2 points au tableau, mais Lamothe a réussi à fermer la porte à l'adversaire et les Titans ont fêté un gain de 6-5.

L'offensive des Titans s'est limitée aux coups sûrs de Rob Schneidmann (2/4, 1 P, 1 FA), Alex Mailhot (1/5, 1 2B, 1 P) et Tyler Hallas (1/3, 1 P, 1 PP, 2 BB, 1 BV).  Félix Veilleux (0/2, 1 PP, 3 BB, 1 BV) s'est rendu sur les buts 3 fois.  La victoire a été créditée à Phil Bussières (3 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 3 CS, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 FA).  Sam Lamothe (3 ML, 2 P, 1 PM, 4 CS, 2 BB, 4 K) a enregistré une partie sauvegardée.

 Saturday, May 21st:  In the first game in Brockville, 2 Montreal errors permitted the Bunnies to extend the first inning and opened the door to 4 unearned runs.  The Titans never recovered.  Brockville added another unearned run in the third before the visitors got their first hit and put a run on the board in the top of the fourth.  The Bunnies then got that run back off starter Sébastien Tremblay in the bottom of that same inning.  Reliever Benjamin Houle-Lecompte entered the game in the fifth and allowed Brockville to score one more time.  The Titans were retired in order in each of the game's last 3 innings and the Bunnies coasted to a 7-1 victory. 

Rob Schneidmann (1/3) had the Titans' only hit.  Sébastien Tremblay (4 IP, 6 R, 1 ER, 5 H, 4 BB, 4 K) took the loss.

The second game of the doubleheader featured good pitching from both teams.  In the third inning, Thomas Rodrigues' 2-out double plated Jimi Audain to give the Titans a 1-0 lead.  Reliever Benoît Ménard, who took over pitching duties from Sam Lamothe in the fourth inning, then allowed Brockville to tie the game.  Ménard proceeded to shut out the Bunnies over the last 3 innings, but the Titans were also unable to score and the game finished in a 1-1 tie.  The Montrealers outhit Brockville 5-3, but were also retired on strikes 13 times. 

Thomas Rodrigues (2/4, 1 2B, 1 RBI) led the team's offense.  Sam Lamothe (3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 4 BB, 4 K) and Benoît Ménard (4 IP, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 H, 3 BB, 4 K) both pitched well.

Brockville a ajouté un autre point non-mérité à la troisième.  À la manche suivante, les Titans ont obtenu leur premier coup sûr du match.  Ils ont mis un point au tableau, mais les Bunnies ont vite répliqué pour porter le compte à 6-1 après 4 manches de jeu.  Les montréalais ont été retirés en ordre à chacun des 3 dernières manche de la partie.  Brockville a marqué un point aux dépens du releveur Benjamin Houle-Lecompte, qui a remplacé le partant Sébastien Tremblay au début de la cinquième, et la partie s'est terminée en une victoire des Bunnies 7-1.

Rob Schneidmann (1/3) a obtenu le seul coup sûr des Titans.  Le partant Sébastien Tremblay (4 ML, 6 P, 1 PM, 5 CS, 4 BB, 4 K) a subi la défaite.

Les lanceurs ont dominé la deuxième partie.  À la troisième manche, un double de Thomas Rodrigues a fait marquer Jimi Audain pour donner une avance de 1-0 aux Titans.  Le releveur Benoît Ménard, qui s'est présenté au monticule à la quatrième en relève du partant Sam Lamothe, a permis à Brockville d'égaliser la partie à cette même manche.  Il a ensuite fermé la porte aux Bunnies pendant le reste du match.  Mais les Titans étaient également tenus en échec au cours des 3 dernières manches et la partie s'est terminée 1-1. 

Les Titans ont obtenu 5 coups sûrs, dont le coup de deux buts de Thomas Rodrigues (2/4, 1 2B, 1 PP).  Les 2 lanceurs, Sam Lamothe (3 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 4 BB, 4 K) et Benoît Ménard (4 ML, 1 P, 1 PM, 2 CS, 3 BB, 4 K), ont combiné leurs efforts pour limiter Brockville à 3 simples. 

Saturday, April 30: After early April exhibition games in Vermont, the Titans began their season with a doubleheader against RPI in Troy, New York. 

They found themselves down 2-1 at the end of the first inning of the first game, but came back with 2 runs in the third, Jimi Audain scoring on a passed ball and Tyler Hallas scoring on a 2-out double by Rob Schneidmann.  RPI then tied the game in the bottom of the third, but the Titans picked up another run in the fourth on 2 walks and a single.  Olivier Parent, who entered the game in the fourth in relief of starter Sébastien Tremblay, then pitched a scoreless inning. 

The Titans combined 4 walks and a single to pick up 2 more runs and take a 6-3 lead in the top of the fifth.  But disaster struck in the bottom of that inning when RPI broke the game open by plating 10 runs against Parent and Titans' third pitcher Mikaël Dagenais.  Although the Montrealers scored 3 runs in the seventh, they went down to a 13-9 loss. 

Rob Schneidmann (2/4, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 SB), Jimi Audain (1/2, 3 R, 1 RBI, 3 BB, 3 SB) and Daniel Paklarian (1/4, 1 2B, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SB, 1 HBP) were the only Titans credited with runs driven in.  Tyler Hallas (0/0, 3 R, 5 BB) reached base in each of his plate appearances.  Reliever Olivier Parent took the loss.

The second game began well for the Titans: starter Sam Lamothe pitched 3 innings of 1-hit shut out ball and they went to bat in the top of the fourth with a 5-0 lead.  Twelve Montreal hitters then went to the plate and, in a rally featuring 4 hits, 2 walks, 1 hit batter and an infield error, the Titans upped their lead to 12-0.

Reliever Benjamin Houle-Lecompte then recorded 3 conscutive infield outs to keep RPI off the board in its next at bat.  But, after the Titans failed to score in the fifth, the home team plated 11 runs at the expense of Houle-Lecompte and the Titans' third pitcher Olivier Parent.  Neither team scored in the sixth, so the Titans took a 12-11 lead into the seventh.  They profited from the generosity of RPI's pitching and defense to add 2 runs without a base hit.  Reliever Benoît Ménard then permitted the home team to load the bases (on a single and 2 walks) with one out.  Despite an infield error which allowed a run to score, Ménard then shut down his opponents to preserve a 14-12 victory.

Guillaume Morin (1/4, 1 R, 3 RBI, 1 BB), Félix Veilleux (2/5, 1 R, 2 RBI, 1 BB) and François Blanchard (1/4, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB) were the Titans' major run producers.  Daniel Thaw (3/6, 2 R, 2 SB) recorded 3 singles.  Both Jimi Audain (1/2, 3 R, 2 BB, 2 SB, 1 HBP) and Rob Schneidmann (0/2, 3 R, 4 BB, 2 SB) scored 3 times.  Sam Lamothe (3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 4 K) was credited with the win.  Benoît Ménard (1 IP, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 2 BB, 1 K) notched the save.

Samedi, le 30 avril:  Après avoir disputé 2 matchs de pré-saison au Vermont au début d'avril, les Titans ont commencé leur calendrier en visitant RPI. 

Dans le premier match, après avoir concédé une avance de 2-1 à RPI à la première manche, ils sont revenus à la charge en troisième:  Jimi Audain a marqué sur une balle passée et Tyler Hallas a croisé le marbre suite à un double de Rob Schneidmann.  RPI a égalisé le compte à la fin de cette manche, mais les Titans ont vite répliqué, marquant un point grâce à 2 buts sur balles et un simple.  Olivier Parent, qui a remplacé le partant Sébastien Tremblay à la quatrième, a ensuite lancé une manche sans histoire. 

Les Titans ont combiné 4 buts sur balles et un simple pour marquer 2 fois et porter leur avance à 6-3.  Mais la fin de la cinquième s'est avérée désastreuse:  RPI a compté 10 fois aux dépens de Parent et du troisième lanceur montréalais Mikaël Dagenais.  Les Titans ont mis 3 points au tableau à la septième, mais ils ont encaissé un revers de 13-9.

Rob Schneidmann (2/4, 1 2B, 1 PP, 1 BV), Jimi Audain (1/2, 3 P, 1 PP, 3 BB, 3 BV) et Daniel Paklarian (1/4, 1 P, 1 2B, 2 PP, 1 BB, 1 BV, 1 FA) ont mené l'attaque des Titans.  Tyler Hallas (0/0, 3 P, 5 BB) s'est rendu sur les buts 5 fois.  Le releveur Olivier Parent a écopé de la défaite.

Du côté des Titans, le deuxième match a bien démarré, car le partant Sam Lamothe a lancé 3 manches sans donner un seul point à RPI.  Les montréalais, qui se sont présentés au bâton au début de la quatrième profitant d'une avance de 5-0, ont procédé à envoyer 12 frappeurs au marbre pour porter cette avance à 12-0. 

Le releveur Benjamin Houle-Lecompte a ensuite obtenu 3 retraits sur des roulants à l'avant-champ pour finir la quatrième manche.  Les Titans n'ont pas marqué à la cinquième.  Ils ont vu leur avance fondre à la fin de cette manche:  RPI a combiné 5 coups sûrs et 7 buts sur balles pour compter 11 fois aux dépens de Houle-Lecompte et du troisième lanceur des Titans Olivier Parent. 

Ni l'une ni l'autre équipe n'a marqué à la sixième.  En avance 12-11 au début de la septième, les Titans ont encaissé 2 autres points sans frappeur un seul coup sûr.  Le releveur Benoît Ménard a ensuite permis à l'adversaire de remplir les buts (sur un simple et 2 buts sur balles) avec un retrait.  Malgré une erreur à l'avant-champ qui a coûté un point, Ménard a subséquemment réussi à fermer la porte à RPI pour préserver un gain de 14-12. 

Guillaume Morin (1/4, 1 P, 3 PP, 1 BB), Félix Veilleux (2/5, 1 P, 2 PP, 1 BB) et François Blanchard (1/4, 1 2B, 2 PP, 1 BB) ont réuni leurs efforts pour produire 7 des 14 points des montréalais.  Daniel Thaw (3/6, 2 P, 2 BV) a frappé 3 simples.  Jimi Audain (1/2, 3 P, 2 BB, 2 BV, 1 FA) et Rob Schneidmann (0/2, 3 P, 4 BB, 2 BV) ont chacun marqué 3 fois.  Sam Lamothe (3 ML, 0 P, 1 CS, 2 BB, 4 K) a été crédité de la victoire.  Benoît Ménard (1 ML, 1 P, 0 PM, 1 CS, 2 BB, 1 K) a enregistré un sauvetage.
