The Purpose of Na Keiki Mauloa:
a. To educate its members on the importance of health and fitness through participation in various activities, including but not limited to, classes, clinics and other activities which focus on the importance of one’s physical health and mental activity;
b. By participating in various activities and functions, to stress the importance of
maintaining, if not improving, the condition of Hawaii’s natural environment,
and which promote Hawaii’s reputation for understanding and acceptance of
other individuals with differing backgrounds, whether it be cultural, socio-
economic, religious, ethnic, or otherwise;
c. To provide opportunities for its members to volunteer their time and services
to other non-profit organizations and the community in order to instill the
values of assistance to others, cooperation, and responsibility and duty to the
community, and to develop a sense of pride from what their efforts are able to
accomplish;
d. To provide its members with the opportunity to learn of various grant and scholarship programs for future educational and career options.
