OUR FUTURE AND GOALS
In the future, we hope to have more involvement from our older youth. Including our Under 16 and Under 19 boys' and girls' teams. Please help to get our older youth involved.
But don't forget about yourselves parents. Soccer is a commitment made by both the player and his/her family. So come out and support your team by watching games and volunteering to improve our organization. Communication is the key to a successful season. We need your input and help. So don't be afraid to speak your mind appropriately.

A few words from our Manager...
Hello Everyone.
This is my fourth season as NSC club manager. I would again like to say that we had a most successful 2008 season. Sadly, we did have a few major incidents on the field during our last season.
I would once more like to address the issue of parent and spectator behavior at the games. We all like to see our children having a good time playing soccer. Parents should let the kids play their game. And while most of us behaved at the games, there were instances where the behavior of some parents/spectators was unacceptable. There is no room in our club for those that choose to misbehave! I ask all parents to give serious thought as to whether you can abide by the rules of the game and behave in a civilized manner. And if you are among the minority that cannot abide by our rules, then I would suggest that perhaps Natomas Soccer Club is not for you. In this regard, this year we will try harder to implement a zero tolerance policy for parent/spectator bad behavior.
This year, in attempting to get more parent involvement in our kids' games, the league is requiring that we have 1 adult for every 3 youth that sign up for referee classes. We do need more parent referees. The league is also proposing a requirement that each team provide an adult referee (a parent) for our U8 and U10 games. We will be asking that each team have at least one parent sign up for our one-day referee level 9 class. So please step up and support your child by becoming more involved.
Again, I would like to compliment all of those involved for their dedication and effort to continue making the Natomas Soccer Club one of the best soccer clubs in Sacramento. We are looking forward to another great season, and with the efforts and involvement of everyone, we can continue to overcome any obstacles and make this a successful season.
Sincerely,
Antonio Ortiz
Natomas Soccer Club Manager

BOARD MEMBERS
The 2009 NSC Board Members were voted in during the Annual General Meeting on November 12, 2008. Most of the Board has remained the same. We will be working very hard in making 2009 a successful soccer season. All of the time dedicated to this club is on a volunteer basis. If you have a thought or suggestions, please join us at our next Board meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend. You should get to know your Board Members.
We look forward to continue serving you and your children through this Board. Please offer your assistance, suggestions, and help. If we work together, 2009 will be even better!!!
