The Olney Blaze defeated the Prince William County Monarchs in a very hard fought game 18-14 in Stafford, Va. on Saturday the 21rst of November just past in the 1rst round of the Metro Bowl Tournament. We wish Coach Scott and the Monarchs the very best as they move forward towards the 2010' season in the R.A.F.L. The Blaze move on to Round #2 and face the reigning 2009' E.F.A. Champion New York Rebels this saturday evening in Newark, New Jersey @ 3pm @ Nat Turner Memeorial Field. Stay tuned for results.
The Olney Blaze Football Organization will be changing it's name going into the 2010'calender year to "THE PHILADELPHIA BLAZE!" This name change will accurately reflect the fact that we will like many other teams in The A.C.F.A. be named after the city or town that we will be representing in a league where the challenges will be to put your best foot forward each and every game because every team in the alliance will be the only team in the city or town that they will be playing out of. We will be the only team in the A.C.F.A Fall Alliance playing out of Philadelphia.
Players who are interested in playing with The Blaze Football Organization to help us continue building a winning tradition should click on to the 2010' Camps Page to see where it is we need more playmakers, position depth, coaching additions, and player qualities.
