Code of Conduct
To all parents,
To make this football & cheer season more enjoyable for all involved we are asking parents to read below.
In signing your child up to participate in Pop Warner in Athol-Mahar you are agreeing to accept the decisions of the coaching staff and the officials at game time as well as on the practice field or gymnasium.
While we realize that there are times when we as parents may become irritated by a coach or an official. It does no service to the children when they see us act in an inappropriate manner.
If you have a problem or complaint you may speak to your child’s coach after the game or practice.
If you are unsatisfied with their decision you may call a board member. We will do all we can to assist you.
Lastly, please keep in mind that all involved in Pop Warner spend considerable time attending meetings, taking care of fields, equipment, scheduling, planning etc. This all starts in January for the season to start in August. At times coach’s and staff may become frustrated as well. If we approach one another knowing this I feel we will be able to communicate on a much calmer and friendlier manner.
