Please read the following information carefully, before registering!
NEW THIS YEAR!! In person registration will take place at the arena on:
Tuesday March 5th, 6pm - 8pm
Saturday March 9th, 9am - 1pm
Thursday March 21st, 6pm - 8pm
Simply bring your pre-registration form, along with post dated cheques! Either one cheque for the full amount post-dated to June 1st, or three post-dated cheques for June 1st, August 1st and October 1st. We will then enter your registration into the HCR website and email your receipt! Pre-registration forms will be handed out to current PDMHA members over the weekend (Mar 2/3) - but if you didnt' get yours, we will have them at the in-person registration dates.

All Families - If you have more than 1 child to register, please register ALL players at the same time to avoid being charged the Fundraising/Volunteer Fee more than once. If you register a player and then come back at another time to register more players, you will be charged the Fundraising/Volunteer fee again!
New Players - If you have never registered with Plattsville Minor Hockey before, you unfortunately will not be able to register online; rather, all new players must paper register with our OMHA Rep, Trina Reinhart. Complete the blank registration form, then contact Trina at 519-684-7371 or firstname.lastname@example.org, and she will register your child(ren) - you should be prepared to provide a photocopy of your child's birth certificate. This is a Hockey Canada rule to avoid duplicate registrations.
Email – As part of the registration process, please ensure that you enter/provide at least one current email address when prompted. Enter more than one if you'd like, as we use email as our main form of communication from PDMHA to all our families. This is how we inform you of deadlines, information and events!
Fundraising/Volunteer Fee- Anyone who has played in Plattsville before knows that these fees are mandatory and payable every year. The Hockey Canada online registration system will automatically add the fee, but it will only be charged once per family, regardless of how many children you register. The fee has remained the same as the last two seasons at $200/per family. The breakdown for this fee is as follows:
1. $100 Fundraising Fee: Each family will be given $100 worth of yellow raffle tickets in the Fall to sell. The raffle draw, covering a wide range of great prizes, takes place as part of the events during Hugh Hall night in January. All money you receive when you sell the raffle tickets is yours to keep, so you can recover the entire $100 if you wish.
2. $100 Volunteer Fee: PDMHA relies on its parents/guardians for so much! Volunteers make up coaching staff, team managers and trainers, parent reps, jersey washers and help the Association run events such as Hugh Hall night and our annual Little Brave Tournament. We hope that instead of letting PDMHA keep your volunteer fee, the amount is enough that people will decide to get involved. PDMHA doesn't want to keep your $100, we need you to come on out and volunteer!
Payments - Hockey Canada allows you to pay in three ways: by Credit Card, Money Order or Cheque. We have been informed that, starting July 1st 2011, if you pay online by credit card then an additional $2.00 service fee will be charged. If you pay by cheque, you can either mail in one cheque for the total amount post dated June 1 2013, or you can divide your total payment into 3 equal payments and mail in three cheques post dated for June 1 2013, Aug 1 2013 and Oct 1 2013. Player Fees – We've compared our registration fees to other centres in our area, and have found that we have one of the least expensive fee schedules around! The 2013-14 registration fees are the same as this year, as outlined below:

Registration fees for the third (and fourth, etc) child within one family are 1/2 price!
Information about tryouts for Rep teams will be made available closer to the start of the season. House (local league) teams at the Novice, Atom and Peewee levels should expect to share ice time for some practices. When scheduling permits, full ice practice sessions will be offerd.
