USA Hockey will conduct a hockey officials fall seminar. Any individual (14 years of age and older) wishing to officiate games in Chazy, Rouses Point and/or Plattsburgh must successfully complete the required classroom and on-ice sessions.
Only officials registered with USA Hockey who have met all requirements will be eligible to officiate games. All officials, new and returning, are required to register on-line prior to the seminar at

Registration costs include: Level 1, $35 and $10 NYSAHA fee; Level 2, $60 and $10; and Level 3, $80 and $10. Any official 18 years of age and older as of Sept. 30, 2009 must also complete an on-line screening program ($13) and provide proof of completion prior to being eligible to work games.
The seminar schedule includes: Sept. 30, Town of Plattsburgh Offices, 7-9 p.m. (new officials with a parent or guardian, all returning Level 1 and Level 2 officials and All Level 3 officials less than 18 years of age), all Level 3 officials are encouraged, but not required to attend; Oct. 18, Plattsburgh State Field House (on-ice session), 11 a.m.-noon; helmet, skates and whistle required, all officials; and Oct. 18, Town of Plattsburgh Offices, 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., all officials.
