2009 SJWA War at the Shore National Folkstyle Championships - Wildwood, NJ 4/10-4/11
The War is over!!! Roxbury topped last year's total with 14 Jr. Gael and RHS wrestlers attending this outstanding national tournament. The competition was fierce in every bracket yet Roxbury had success again this year. Another great time was had by the wrestlers and families. It seems the families and especially, the sisters now look forward to this tournament as much as the wrestlers! (Note: Though Craig Roumes did not wrestle due to an injury, we look forward to his return next year!)

The Roxbury Jr. Gaels Wrestling Banquet was held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Guest speakers were Jim Dolan - Coach of the 2009 Iron Hills Conference-Iron Division Champion RHS Wrestling Team and Phil Ernst - 2009 Morris County Champion, District 2 Champion, Region 1 Consolation Winner and NJSIAA State Tournament Qualifier. 2008 Roxbury Rumble Wrestling Tournament, Roxbury - 12/14/08
The tournament ran a little longer than expected, however, the competition was fierce and some hard fought matches were wrestled. All 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in the Open portion of the tournament qualified for the Ohio Tournament of Champions.
A huge thank you to to all parents, wrestlers, coaches and friends that helped out at the tournament. Thank you to Coach Jim Dolan and the RHS wrestlers for all their help and support. We couldn't have done it without you!

Randolph Thanksgiving Team Tournament - 11/30/08
The Roxbury Jr. Gaels Varsity wrestlers made some noise this weekend in their first team tournament in recent history. It was a long day in a hot gym but the boys wrestled their hearts out. Roxbury took 4th place out of 14 teams behind some powerful teams from Jackson, Montville and Phillipsburg. Great job, boys!
