Important information regarding Section V Cheerleading Fall 2013 Sectionals

Times and Classifications - TBAAwards will be given at the end of each session.
Cheerleaders and coaches must enter through the entrance on the lower level.
Spectators (including JV cheerleaders) must enter through the main entrance.
Admission is $5.00
National Federation Rules are in effect.
Cheer/Dance requirements for all Classifications:
New Level of Difficulty Rubric & Score Sheets will be upcoming. Check for notification on welcome page.
Time Limit: 2 minutes 30 seconds for ALL classifications
Deductions:
1 - A violation of Safety Regulations at Sectionals is a 5 point deduction for each violation. This will be deducted from the total sectional score. Any safety deductions at Sectionals will be decided by three nationally certified safety judges. Their decision will be final. Coaches will be notified before awards are given out.
2 - At sectionals there is a 5 point deduction for exceeding the time limit. Time starts with your squad's first move.

IMPORTANT COTY Information:
You must vote for a coach of the year in at least one classification in order to be eligible to receive this honor. Please vote on a coaches contribution to cheerleading including technical skills as well as positive attitude. You may vote for up to 3 coaches in each classification. Your first name listed receives 3 points, second name receives 2 points and third name receives 1 point. Simply email a list of your nominees by classification to Pam Palmer by October 21st. Be sure to include your name and the school that you are coaching at with your list. Of course, only one Varsity coach per school is allowed to vote.
