Meet Our Coaches

2007-2008 5/6 Cougar Coaches
We are progressing slowly with our team, and I wanted to give you all a quick update on some things as we try to bring our team together. First of all, here is a quick list of our coaches with phone numbers attached:

I have coached soccer & basketball for kids these ages, and I am also the head of the basketball officials for The Colony & Little Elm Youth basketball leagues. This will be my first tango with Football, but I am excited about it and I hope to learn and grow with the kids through this process. We are fortunate to have Hall Parris helping us this year. Hall was coaching this age group last year with his son's team, and has already been a wealth of knowledge for me with the team. His excitement is very contagious. We will also have Steve Hogan helping us on a limited basis this year. Steve is the head of all the football coaches for TCYFA, and he coaches the Cowboys 9 & 10 year old tackle team. Steve has been helping me behind the scenes get acclimated to the league. Last but not least, Shawn Crawford is a good friend of mine, and an old college buddy. We decided to take this challenge together since our son's share in our football passion, and they are only a few weeks a part in age.
Finally, my whole goal for our team this year is to have our young men learn how to work together as a team, support their team mates, learn sportsmanship, discipline, and most importantly have fun! I promise you every young man will get to play a lot, and will learn different positions. I am very approachable, and I am open to feedback or any type of constructive criticism.
