Blair Field was full of stars
November 2, 2004  --   Filming! There's a safe post-election subject. The show will go on no matter who's in office. Recreation Park/Blair Field was full of stars and crews and their attendant high-tech-gypsy camp of trailers and tents on Friday, Monday and Tuesday. The John Cusack and Diane Lane romantic/comedy, "Must Love Dogs," was filming at the Recreation Dog Park all three days, overlapping on Monday with crews and talent for CBS' new Saturday evening sports/family drama "Clubhouse."

    Lane wed Brolin barefoot
August 20, 2004  --   Diane Lane's recently wedding to Josh Brolin was a very relaxed affair - the actress marched down the aisle barefoot, while guests were allowed to bring their dogs. The couple wed on Sunday in a low-key, hilltop ceremony before approximately 70 guests on Brolin's 97-acre ranch north of Los Angeles. The only music on supply at the nuptials was classical guitar, and Lane - along with her maid of honor Elizabeth Perkins - went barefoot along a dirt path. And a handful of guests took advantage of the opportunity to bring along their own dogs to the ceremony, including Brolin's stepmother Barbra Streisand, who attended with husband James Brolin. The service was conducted by Brolin's pal Anthony Zerbe, and his 16-year-old son Trevor served as ring bearer. Lane's 10-year-old daughter Eleanor, and Brolin's daughter Eden, 11, were both flower girls.
