Director’s Report: Ms. Boyd and Ms. Soliz

Ms. Boyd: Holiday Charity Event was fantastic, all the girls received gift cards, and we taught them a dance.  The girls really enjoyed it and it was great to see how they bonded.  It was a success. 

Competition solo and ensemble payments are due to me by February 1^st.  We will have a Tryout meeting for the 2013-2014 season following the next PBC meeting.  I will be handing out the tryout packets.

MA update:  Thank you for coming, we appreciate all the parent participation, we need it for the upcoming MA dance competition, February 23, 2013.  We are expecting around 6,000 people this year.  With all the parents and girls helping it should be a success and be a great money maker for our team.  We will have a mandatory MA meeting Feb. 12, 2013 at 6:30 pm.  At least one parent must be present.  It will be the last meeting before the MA competition.  I will be sending out an email with a new sign up sheet:  your whole family can sign up, we can use all their help.   

President’s Report: Kristie Poldervaart

Thanks again for everyone coming, this is an important meeting and we have a lot to go over tonight,  

MA:  Sign up sheets are on the desk, if you are not on a committee, please sign up with one tonight.  You can check the lists to see if you are signed up already.  Everyone needs to be signed up tonight.  We will break into groups as soon as we complete the regular meeting.  We are aware that the Sadie dance is that Friday before the MA, we just have to work around it.  It is early dismissal so we should be able to start setting up Friday afternoon but a  lot will be done Saturday morning.  We will have shifts set up from 6 AM to the end of Competition.

Project Graduation:  The Pacesetters gave a money donation this year instead of a basket.

VP Treasurers Report:  Sherri Maddox/Sandy Hill

Treasurer Report:  starting balance: $18,601.00, Deposits $ 23,998.00, disbursements: $10,464.00, ending balance:  $32,135.00. 

Sandy:  Last payment is due tonight:  we need the money to pay for the upcoming trip and competition.

Pacesetters should pay $130.00 per month/ Managers $110.00.  You can check your account in charms for fundraiser credits.
