HAWKS DECEMBER UPDATE...

December 22, 2009
The Hawks are continuing to get better and have added some great players to the roster in December. The Hawks had another scrimmage, this time against the NT Jaguars; and we had an opportunity to check out several of the new players. The roster will be full in 2010 but so far everybody is contributing and no one is complaining. This is a great sign for a new team!
November 3, 2009
Hawks looking good with 2 AEFL rookie QBs on the roster. Excited about the direction of the team Hawks receiver, Marcus Griffin, told management, "I am excited about the offense and our QB, I can't stop thinking about this offense". Griffin looks to be a big part of the offense in 2010 as a large target for the Hawks QB. The past month has already seen some changes to the roster with the departure of 4 former Knights and the addition of 5 solid athletes who are all pushing for starting roles including 2 QBs, new linebacker - Middleton, and 2 new receivers. Hawks are loading up for a big inaugural season in 2010.

OPEN WORK OUT #2 HAS A GOOD TURN OUT!

August 30, 2009
Great turn out for the 2nd work out, Hawks have 18 players and 3 coaches at the 2nd workout. The practice consisted of installations of the offense along with plenty of drills for conditioning. The Hawks will have two more open try outs in September and in October they will see their first live game action with a scrimage.

The Hawks owner had a phone call to Washington D.C. and came to terms with one of the best offensive lineman to ever play in the AEFL. Reed Lowery is returning to Texas and will be joining the Hawks in 2010.
