Does MSA conduct back ground checks on their coaches?

MSA and its parent organization, NTSSA, have required all coaches, managers, adult referees and other volunteers to fill-out the Volunteer Application form, commonly referred to as the Risk Management Form, which is used to check the background on our volunteers to protect the children from exposure to unsavory characters.

ALL COACHES, MANAGERS, AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUESTED TO COMPLETE THIS FORM PRIOR TO REGISTRATION EACH FALL.

How much does it cost for each player?

UPDATED: FALL 2022

Under 5 - Under 6:       $90.00

Under 7 - Under 8:       $95.00

Under 9 - Under 10:     $105.00

Under 11 - Under 12:   $110.00

Under 13 - Under 19:   $120.00

All players will pay registration fees in accordance to the division they will be playing in.

How does my child get on a team?

After registration ends, all players are placed within their age group, if possible, they are then separated by their middle school area to help with travel to practices.

When possible, players are picked from a blind pool by the coach for each team and the coach will contact the player soon after that selection has been made.

When and where would practices be?

Practice times, location and durations are determined the volunteer coach and are expected to start when registration opens for the upcoming season. Many coaches hold practices during OFF SEASON.
If you are a returning player to an existing team, please talk to your coach regarding practices.

When and where would the games be?

Games are located at Eastfield Soccer Complex.
Most games are on Saturdays, with some games on Sundays.

**U9 and above may have some weeknight games.

How much are the uniforms?

Each individual team coach determines their team's uniforms and will inform all players those procedures regarding ordering of your player's uniform/s.  Pricing does vary and MSA does not have any details. You will need to confirm with the coach or team manager.

How much play time will my child get?

Each player is required to receive 50% play time of each game, including tournament and playoff games.

How do I file a complaint on my child's coach?

Contact the Sergeant at Arms to file a formal complaint. See Board page for info.

What is a sponsorship?

MSA has a sponsorship program for the players that cannot afford to pay the registration fee.

Complete the sponsorship form located on the "Forms" page and COMPLETELY fill each required space.
Applications are due according to the date printed at the top of the form.

NOTE:  APPLICATIONS ARE BASED UPON NEED ONLY - NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE APPROVED.
