Our Coaching Staff

All of our coaches have their Community Coaches Certification from the York Region Soccer Association.  More than that, all three coaches occupy leadership roles in the professional lives as managers of people.  The coaching staff could field their own soccer team, as the parents of nine daughters.  Your daughters couldn’t have better role models to assist them through their ‘soccer experience’.  

To augment the training senior paid coaches with National B Licenses are brought in on a weekly basis to provide technical team training. 

Kevin Tierney, Head Coach, started the rep program in King City.  As Head Coach of the 1999 King City Royals he saw the team through from its inception in U8 to the team ultimately gaining promotion to the highest level of youth soccer, the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL).  Coach Kevin transferred his Head Coaches duties to new coach to guide the 99 girls through the OYSL.  In his first two years as Head Coach of the 2001G team Coach Kevin has guided the team to promotion in each year to the CGSL L3.  Coach Kevin is the Director of Soccer Development for the King United Soccer Club (KUSC) and oversees the Club’s competitive program.   Coach Kevin has four daughters. 

Paul Racco, Assistant Coach, was born and raised in King Township, is a community leader and has been a volunteer with the Club for many years.  Coach Paul is also the Head Coach of the 2003G team, is a Director with the KUSC and also provides oversight of the rep program in collaboration with Coach Kevin.  Coach Paul has three daughters.

Ross Ianniello, Assistant Coach, and original head coach of the 2001G team before assuming his new role as Head Coach of the 2004 boys King United rep team.  Coach Ross works tirelessly all year round to teach kids the fundamentals of the game.  Coach Ross has two daughters.
