Parental Obligations

 

 

1.     Concession Stand Duty: it is the responsibility of each player’s parent to work in the concession stand for at least (1) – 2 hour shift or to the completion of the game if longer than two hours.  If you have more than one child in the league, you will be scheduled for each child.   

 

      Concession Stand Buy Out - If you would like to opt out of concession duty and not have your name appear on the concession schedule, please put $15 in an envelope with your child's name and team written on the front.  We will take care of hiring subs for you.  Please turn your envelope in to your coach or team parent at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled shift.

 

     If you decide to hire a sub later in the season please contact one of the following:

Children are not permitted in the concession stand while their parents are working!!

 

Failure of a parent to fulfill their responsibility in the Concession Stand will result in their child being suspended for the next game.

 

A second concession stand duty applies to parents of players in all-stars.

 

 

2.     Field Preparation: it is the responsibility of each player’s parents to assist in the preparation of the field for approximately (2-3) home games. If a parent is scheduled to work their assignment shift, it is their responsibility to find a replacement and communicate who their replacement is to their team parent.  

 

3.     Announcement Booth: it is the responsibility of the each player’s parents to announce (1) away game. If a parent is scheduled to work their assignment shift, it is their responsibility to find a replacement and communicate who their replacement is to their team 

     parent.
