Ranking System
The rankings is now based on the top finishes out of half the events of a two year peroid. In the event of an odd number of events, one extra event will be added to each player's points if possible. This system has changed due to the greater number of national events. A tournament is qualified as a nationally ranked tournament if it meets Classic game requirements and has at least 12 players entered.
The number of points earned for a tournament is based on the number of entrants. The maximum number of points available is 10 times the number of players entered, plus 5 bonus points for making the championship series and another 5 bonus points for winning the championship series.
For example is there are 16 entrants then:
st place = 160 + 5 + 5 = 170
nd place = 150 + 5 = 155
rd place =140
th place =130
th place = 120
th place = 110
th place = 100
th place = 90
th place = 80
th place = 70
th place = 60
place = 50
th place = 40
th place = 30
th place = 20
th place = 10
