Patrick Jenkins Head Coach

Coach Jenkins was born and raised in New Jersey where he played lacrosse at South Brunswick High School. He played three years of Varsity, capping his senior season with a Division Championship and First Team All-State, Division and Schools player of the year as well as The Home News Tribune Player of the Year. He also played in the New Jersey Senior All Star game.

He played college lacrosse for Cabrini College in Pennsylvania where he was a four year starter. His team won four straight conference championships and finished all four years ranked in the top 20, including a number three ranking his senior year. He capped his playing career with a come from behind win over the North in the 2008 College All Star Game.

Coach Jenkins began coaching while at Cabrini, working three to four camps each summer, in addition to coaching All Star tournament teams. He became the Offensive Coordinator at South Brunswick in 2008 and continued to scout for Cabrini in the summers.

He relocated to Orange County in August 2011 and currently plays with the Hollywood Lacrosse Club. He is a long-time supporter of HEADstrong Foundation, an organization founded by a fellow lacrosse player to find a cure for blood cancer.

Coach Trent Cooper

Coach Trent Cooper, a 2010 Aliso Niguel High School graduate played Varsity lacrosse sophomore through senior year. Starting as a midfielder, he moved to attack junior year. His senior year he made first team all league playing attack. 


Coach Cooper became an Orange County Lacrosse youth referee in 2007 where he continues to referee. He also coaches and directs youth summer camps for the Skyhawks Youth Organization. He became a high school lacrosse coach in 2010, coaching at both Aliso Niguel High School and Trabuco Hills High School.

Tim Doane FroSoph Head Coach

Lacrosse wasn’t a sport being offered to Coach Tim while growing up in Newport Beach, CA.  Coach Tim has been involved with lacrosse for over 25 years.  He didn't start playing lacrosse until he attended a prep school in Malvern, Pennsylvania, where he played midfielder for two years.  From there he went on to attend Chapman University in Orange, CA.  He played midfielder for three years, when Lacrosse was first established in 1988 and graduated with a Degree in Communications.  Since college, Coach Tim has continued playing lacrosse on various club teams such as: Orange County, Brine, Laxworld, Haute Sticks, Blackstar and Crossfire Lacrosse.  Coach Tim started his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at USC in 1998.  He then went on to be a Head coach at Woodbridge High School in 1999 and 2000.  In 2005, he continued his coaching career as a JV Assistant Coach at Foothill High School.  He was a Head Coach at Dana Hills High School in 2006.  He was also an Assistant Coach at Las Flores Middle School in 2006 and 2007.  In 2008 thru 2010, he was an Assistant Coach at Long Beach State University.  Coach Tim has coached at Esperanza High School the last four seasons as a JV Assistant Coach and the Frosh/Soph Head Coach.  In 2011 Coach Tim joined the OCLOA as a youth and high school lacrosse referee and is still currently refereeing at this time.  When Coach Tim isn’t coaching or refereeing lacrosse he is spending his time with his wife Melissa, his son Carson (6) and their dog Copper.   

Kyle Swarts Assistant Coach

Coach Swarts is originally from upstate New York where he played against high school teams in and around the Syracuse and Binghamton area. He played varsity lacrosse for three years at Union-Endicott high school where he helped the Tigers place second in NYSPHSAA's Section IV in 2010. In 2011 for his efforts as a defenseman for the Tigers, Coach Swarts received the Dwight Jemison outstanding defensive player award. That same year he was also selected for the East vs. West all-star senior’s game where he played against some of the top players in the section IV region. 

After high school Coach Swarts was accepted to Concordia University Irvine where he was recruited to play lacrosse. Coach Swarts played as a LSM for the eagles during their 2012 season and went with them to compete in the Southwestern lacrosse conference playoffs, as well as the MCLA Division II national championship in Greenville South Carolina. After playing a year with the Eagles, Coach Swarts wanted to start giving back and began coaching lacrosse. He's coached with the Southern Maryland's U13 Razorbacks summer team, after that he became the head coach for the U15 OC Rebels for the Fall and Winter. He is still attending Concordia where he plans to obtain a bachelors in Political Science before following his family's tradition of serving in the Armed Forces

Coach Zach Henderson

 

Coach Henderson, a 2010 Aliso NIguel High School graduate played lacrosse all four years of his high school career, including being a member of the first club lacrosse team at Aliso.  He was a two year varsity member as an attackmen, and after high school chose to move out to Montana to pursue his hockey career. 

 

For the last two years, Zach has lived in Montana playing his first sport, while in the summer has been coaching lacrosse at Aliso Niguel High School.  He has since moved back out to California full time, and is now attending California State University, Fullerton where he is majoring in Kinesiology, as well as playing for the hockey team there.  

 

Zach is now entering his third season of coaching for the Wolverines
