APACHES 16U HEAD COACH

ZACH SNEED

ZacH is currently in his second season at Paris JC as their returning number one pitcher. In addition to his success on the mound at PJC, Zack is a middle of the line-up hitter and utility infielder for the Dragons.

ZacH signed his NCAA Letter of Intent in the Fall of '08 to attend Abilene Christian University for his remaining two years of collegiate ball.

Coach Sneed is a student of the game and an excellent young baseball mind. He is a member of the DABA Collegiate Apaches team as a returning two-way starter.

This will be ZacH's second consecutive year as the 16u Apaches Head Coach and he is looking forward to another year of quality baseball and success!

Coach Weaver is currently an assistant coach at the University of Dallas and well into his fourth year as the owner of the Apaches Baseball Club.

This is Weaver's second stint at the collegiate level and his fifth year coaching overall. Previously, he was the varsity assistant coach at Cedar Hill HS and Whitesboro HS as well as a semester assistant coach at Olney Central College in southern Illinois.

This will be Coach Weaver's first year as the 17u Head Coach as he has spent his previous years as the 18u Head Coach. Weaver enjoys the time he spends with his Apache players and the relationships that he has built over the past half decade.

Under his tutelage as the 18u Coach and Director of Operations, he has sent 39 players to the collegiate level in a four year span. Coach Weaver is excited about the upcoming baseball season and the many scholarship opportunities that will arrive for his Apache Baseball Club in '09.

Chris McKinley

Coach McKinley, Head Baseball Coach at Burleson HS, will be joining the Apaches Baseball Club for his first full-year the summer of '09.

Chris McKinley is in his 3rd year with Burleson HS, after spending several years as a head and assistant coach at Cedar Hill HS, Southwest HS, and Sam Houston HS, respectively.

Coach McKinley led the 18u/17u Apaches to a 13-1 record this past fall and an impressive showing at the North Texas Showcase. Five of his eight seniors from the fall of 2008 have already signed scholarship letters of intent for next year and the other three have offers, but are still undecided.

McKinley is an intense coach and baseball mind, who loves the game and shows his passion for it. Coach McKinley will bring great success and knowledge to the graduating Apaches during their transition to the collegiate level.
