Baseball U one of the top travel organizations has expanded its successful winter training and has started a Middle School Spring Training program. Each player will work at their positions with the Baseball U staff. Stations for all fielding positions will improve a player’s game and have them ready for their middle school season. The camp will be capped at 50 players and is expected to fill up fast.

Pitchers – will work on pitching mechanics and drills and progress along to be ready for day one of practice.

Catchers – will work with MLB scout Steve Markovich from the Seattle Mariners as well as other catching instructors.

Infielders – will work on entire fielding mechanics including proper foot work to improve on throwing accuracy and arm strength.

Outfielders – will work on proper technique with catching fly balls as well as ground balls. Speed and agility takes hard work to be a successful outfielder.

Hitting – Stations will walk a player from the ground up. From selection of bat to hitting the curve ball it will be a complete process of hitting.

8  weeks of sessions that are 1.5 hours long

The facility for Middle School players is not the same as high school age.

The Ocean Sports Academy will be the host site and Baseball U will use the 7,000 sq ft turf facility for the workouts.

It is conveniently located ½ mile off Rt 18 as well as 2 miles off the Garden State Parkway.
