15U Big Katz Capture Worthington Classic 16U Crown
The Columbus Big Katz 15U Purple Team swept through the Worthington Classic 16U Division with 6 out of 7 games shortened by the mercy-rule, including the championship game. Head Coach Jason Vest attributed the Big Katz success in the tournament to hard work and patience throughout the season. "Everything we have been working on all season came together this weekend," Vest said.
Members of the team include: Sam Adams, Matthew Buckholz, Michael Eckstein, Taylor Emody, Brady Heins, Kyle Jeffries, Cody Magley, Marcus Makuch, Austin Miller, Scott Miller, Eric Petry, Brad Przebieda, Ethan Way, Brandon Winter. The team is coached by Jason Vest, Brad Griffith, & Justin Miller and managed by Dave Way.

2007 Y-Bridge City Bash College Wood Bat Tournament Champions
The Big Katz Collegiate Wood Bat Team won the Y-Bridge City Wood Bat Tournament Championship on June 17, 2007. This was the first championship for the Big Katz at the collegiate level. The Big Katz, coached by Rick Oyster and Jason Campbell was comprised of: Troy Balduf, Andy Brown, Carter Butland, Chris Dorka, Stephen Gruenberg, John Hamrick, DJ Hanlin, Bryan Hartman, Matthew Haycook, Phil Hetlinger, Isiah James, Michael Kennedy, Kerry Mock, Steve Roberts, Kevin Schnacke, Chad Smith, Jordan Smith, Matt Streng, Shane Swearingen, Benjamin Way, Jeremy Wentworth.
