MISSION STATEMENT
Cedar Springs Rocket Cheerleading's purpose is to teach and develop the skills of life & the sport of cheerleading with everyone we make contact with. We are a recreational program that tries to instill into our cheerleaders, parents, volunteers and everyone we make contact with, to have pride & respect in themselves, their teammates, their school & their community. We are a member of the Northern Rocket Cheerleading League. We are a learning league that doesn't award championships, but instead prides itself on being a teaching league. Rules are designed to provide a safe environment for the majority of the cheerleaders. "TEAM" is one of the main ideas we emphasize to our students, because no one can win by themselves. Every cheerleader should have a position and cheer in every quarter of the football game, as long as, goals set forth by the CSRC coaching staff, are met. Examples are: showing up and giving an honest effort at all practices, maintaining good grades and good behavior in school, giving respect to all other cheerleaders, parents and coaches in the program.
