The Sons of Italy are our Chartering Organiztion. They allow us to operate and support us financially and by allowing us to utilze some storage space in their building.

Verizon Foundation
The Verizon Foundation is the Community Service organization within the Verizon Corporation. Cub Pack 601 has partnered with the Verizon Foundation on various community service activities throught the year. Some of those activities include:
Project Hopeline - Cub Pack 601 collected used Cell phones which Verizon fixed and distributed to Women's shelters
Season's Reading - Cub Pack 601 collected used children's books which were distributed to worthwhile organizations.
Shower for Shelter - Cub Pack 601 collected personal Items (soap, toothpaste, etc.) for distribution to a women's shelter in Hempstead.
These efforts were all coordinated through Stephen Trinceri a Verizon employee and the father of Tyler Mallozzi-Trinceri a Wolf cub in our pack. Stephen is also the Webmaster for Cub Pack 601.
Through this partnership, Cub Pack 601 has received a grant of $750.00 for the volunteer work they have completed through working with Stephen. This money will be used for various Cub Pack related events throughout the year.
