Our Team
The DSC Dynamos is a U13 (2009/10) boys' select/travel soccer team based in Montgomery County, Maryland just outside Washington, DC. We are proud to be affiliated with the Damascus Soccer Club. During the fall and spring seasons, we practice (usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays) in the Gaithersburg/Germantown area and we play in the highly competitive National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) which is the premier soccer league for boys in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. During the winter, we practice indoor and play in a local futsal league. Futsal is a form of indoor soccer without walls which is highly effective in developing soccer skills - in fact it is the only form of indoor soccer recognized by FIFA (soccer's world governing body). We also compete in several tournaments a year.

Team Philosophy
Our team goals are (in this order):
1. Have Fun!
2. Develop "Well Rounded" Soccer Players
3. Win Games
We believe that having fun is the most important goal of the team. If kids don't have fun, they stop playing. Developing "well rounded" soccer players means that all kids learn to master ball control as well as multiple field positions. Yes, we'll try to win games - but not at the expense of having fun and developing quality soccer players.
