Spare the Air Days and Practice

Coaching Education

The CYSA E/D course will no longer be offered. CYSA has decided to use USSF’s curriculum for the E and D courses. The prerequisite for the USSF D course is the USSF E course. The ONLY exception to this is if someone has taken the CYSA E or CYSA E/D course, they can enroll in the USSF D course, but are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to take the USSF E first. This suggestion is being made because we want people to be successful when they take the USSF National D course.

Coaches must possess an F license before taking the E license class and will be required to show proof prior to attending the clinic. E license is required before taking the D course.

Coaching Reminders

Coaches, if you do not have an assistant (fingerprinted and coach pass on the player pass ring) it is strongly recommended one is recruited. We would hate for a game to be cancelled because the Head Coach had an unforeseen emergency and couldn’t make a game. Assistant Coaches must be approved through the league with appropriate paperwork on file: Coach Form and fingerprint form must be on file. No parents or friends are allowed on the field during practices or games.
Games and Practice expectations: Coaches, please remain at the field until all your players have been picked up after practice or league games. Players should not be left at practice fields alone, especially when practices end in the dark.
Registration Forms/Binders: Please have your Coach Binder with you at all times during soccer related events. The binders contain vital emergency information. Registration forms have emergency contact numbers and Parent Agreement Forms are mandatory for reminding players & parents about their expected behavior on the soccer field. You are expected to RETURN these binders at the end of the season. Failure to do so may result in denial of future requests to coach a team.
FCEG Clinics: FCEG will have shooting clinics throughout the season. No schedule yet. We will get the information out to you as soon as it becomes available. THESE ARE FREE CLINICS.

Once the coach fills in his/her information, he/she will be given a confirmation number. This confirmation number MUST be emailed to the club registrar at billandsandyj@yahoo.com. Be sure to keep a copy for your records!
