On Jan. 24, 2009 the East Hanover Soldiers Competition Cheerleading Squad won First place at the 14th Annual Middletown Cheerleading Competition held at Middletown High School . Congratulations girls, Great Job !
 
On Feb. 7, 2009 the East Hanover Soldiers Competition Cheerleading Squad won Fourth place at the 2009 Lower Dauphin Cheer Classic , held at Lower Dauphin High School. Good Job girls! Keep working hard.
 
On Feb. 28, 2009 the East Hanover Soldiers Competition Cheerleading Squad won Second place at PA Extreme Winter Blast Cheerleading Competition , held at Newport High School. At the PA Extreme Winter Blast the East Hanover Soldiers won the SPIRIT AWARD by collecting the most canned goods for a food drive being held for the Perry County Food Bank.
