2004 ALL-AMERICANS
Louisville Slugger presented its choices for the 2004 H.S. All-Americans on June 18th and a Fort Worth Cat was on the list.
SS/2B Noel Trevino (Paschal H.S.) made it as he set the school record for stolen bases in a single season at 23 in 25 attempts. Near the end of his high school season he was hitting .484 with two homeruns, 10 doubles, 14 RBI, 31 hits, and 12 walks.
Louisville Slugger also announced its college Freshman All-Americans on June 18th. Listed was also a former, three year starter, Fort Worth Cat.
SS German Duran, T.C.U., was not only a Louisville SLugger All-American, but was also named to the All-Freshman Team in Conference USA. Duran had a 21-game hitting streak as he hit .330 with 16 doubles, five homers, and 27 RBI.
