Who is GBC?
GBC is a non-profit organization and member of the Central Jersey Pop Warner Conference. Since 1966, the East Brunswick Golden Bears have provided a quality Pop Warner program to children ages 5-15. In 1998, the EB Golden Bears merged with the Spotswood Chargers. The new “Golden Bear Chargers” continue to serve children in these towns and surrounding communities by providing a successful program that strives to instill team spirit, positive self-esteem, sportsmanship and fair play.
GBC is governed by a board of elected members, all of whom volunteer their time to organize and manage the many responsibilities of the program, assuring that GBC follows guidelines set by the local and regional Pop Warner associations. Board elections are held annually in the fall. New nominees/members are always welcome.
