At Asphalt Green, we are committed to providing you with the very best in youth sports education. Through a progressive coaching curriculum, experienced coaching staff, and state of the art facilities, we offer sports in a safe and healthy environment each and every day. The objective of Asphalt Green's soccer program is to prepare our players both technically and tactically both at the beginner and advanced level.
In 2009-10, with a record 20 teams (10 boys, 10 Girls), the Asphalt Green Wave soccer program will also feature a U8 Academy program, additional Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ) programs, and a PUMA uniform partnership. We are committed to improving the program in many different facets through facility renovations, coach selection, and are confident 2009-2010 will be the best season yet.
Asphalt Green has also undergone some major renovation improvements this past spring which included a brand new state-of-the-art turf field and permanent lights. Asphalt Green continues to be the facility of choice for soccer and other AG programs in NYC. We look forward to seeing all of you on the field, and wish everyone a great fall season!

"The Soccer Program" Asphalt Green offers the most comprehensive soccer program in NYC. Dedicated to total player development, we have a program for all ages and abilities. As a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance, we stress the importance of sportsmanship and life skills through sport. Our staff has a passion for the game, and continuously strive to instil the same passion to all of our players.
Youth Academy(Ages 3-14)
Whether just starting out, or looking for extra skill work, the Youth Academy is a perfect fit for the aspiring soccer athlete. Our coaching staff teaches the game, using research based training to improve your child's technical game.
Travel Teams(Ages 8-18)
Our travel teams offer a competitive alternative to the Academy program. Boys participate in the CJSL League, and Girls participate in the WYSL League. In addition, teams will enter into a number of tournaments throughout the season to compete locally, regionally, and nationally dependent upon the level and commitment from each team. Travel players must understand both the training and time commitment (Sept.-June)it takes to be a part of this program.
Private training
AG offers private training for players seeking accelerated progress in their skills. Our sessions focus on areas requiring technical development, or just to improve the all around game. Private training workouts include a free assesment and a customized training plan geared towards improving the technical side of the game.
Camps and Clinics
Offered periodically throughout the year for both players and coaches. Youth camps for both elite and recreational players are offered seasonally during your child's break from school to allow for additional training. We also host coaching education clinics and workshops throughout the year, combining the expertise of the NSCAA and the Asphalt Green staff.
The vision of AG Wave is to prepare our young soccer players both technically and tactically in a safe and healthy environment.
