MBYB, The Organization
Mt. Baker Youth Baseball is an organized charitable organization providing youth with recreational baseball/softball activities for educational purposes, without profit, to youth of Whatcom County. We are operated as an independent, non-commercial, non-political, and non-profit 501 (c)3 organization. Our organization raises its funds through four means: sponsorship, registration fees, raffle ticket sales, and concession revenue. The Mt. Baker Youth Baseball organization is also an affiliate of the Babe Ruth Baseball organization.
Our mission is to enrich the community by providing leadership, training, and administration for youth baseball and softball programs in a manner consistent with the organizations and community values.
Our current Board of Directors and elected league administration positions can be found on this website by accessing the League Contacts page to the left of your screen. Our Coaching staff consists of volunteers that carry with them much experience for the age level they work in. Mt. Baker Youth Baseball requires all our coaching staff to submit and pass a Washington State Patrol Check every two years prior to the season commencing.
