The Bridgetown Thunder are a very good adult/semi-pro baseball team in Portland. They have been members of the NorthWest Independent Baseball League (NWIBL) for years and compete for the city title every season.
They also have the best adult team website that I have ever seen! Kris Walker is an OF/Pitcher and a great webmaster. Schedules, pic's, stats, roster, schedules, everything. Check them out:
Here's an example of the game coverage that is provided:
Thunder Ends Season in Disappointing Fashion
The Three River Circles’ Stephen George doubled and scored twice and pitched a complete game in the Circles’ 4-3 victory over the Bridgetown Thunder on Monday night at Walker Stadium. The loss eliminates Bridgetown (18-5) from the double-elimination Northwest Independent Baseball League playoffs. The team went 17-3 in the regular season and captured a share of the competitive Columbia Division championship. But, for the second time in three years, the team was unable to win more than a single game prior to being eliminated from the playoffs.
