CATHOLIC SCHOOL
CHEERLEADING COMPETITION
January 19, 2007
Dear Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors,
The Queen of Peace CYO Cheerleaders cordially invites you to their 2nd annual Catholic Elementary School Cheerleading Competition to be held on March 29, 2008 at Queen of Peace High School Gymnasium.
Our competition is open only to Catholic Youth Organization cheerleading programs. All participants must attend the parish school or parish religious education program of the team they cheer for. If you are not an active CCCANJ member, the attached roster must be completed and returned with your registration.
All Biddy teams will receive awards with each girl receiving a trophy, i.e. Best Cheer, Best Dance, and Cutest Smile. Team and individual trophies will be awarded to 50% of the teams in each of the other divisions. Singles and Doubles entered in each division will receive an award.
Coaches and team members are to enter the school on the Legion place side of the school. (See attached directions) There will be a drop off area for all cheerleaders and coaches. All spectators are to enter the gym at the Rutherford Place entrance.
The upstairs area of the school will be available for cheerleading changing convenience and will be restricted for the use of cheerleaders and coaches only. Due to limited space cheerleaders and a maximum of three (3) coaches per team will be permitted in this area. Parents of cheerleaders will NOT be permitted in this area. We expect all competitors to leave the school in the same condition in which they find it.
A Hospitality Room will be available to the coaches throughout the day for your convenience. Cheerleaders and unregistered coaches will not be permitted in the Hospitality Room.
Teams and spectators will find a nice selection of delicious food in our cafeteria, as well as raffle tickets for baskets, 50/50’s, cheer grams, a professional photographer and vendors selling T-shirts and team wear. Admission to the competition will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for Children/Students. There will be a limit of three coaches per team to be permitted free entry into the competition.
Checks should be made payable to Queen of Peace CYO Cheerleading Competition.
Registration forms and fees should be sent to:
Judy Moretti

In order to help us prepare for our competition in a timely and organized fashion, please contact Judy or Tracey by e-mail ASAP if you intend to enter. Rosters and checks may be sent later, but all paperwork is due by March 1, 2008 to allow ample time to prepare a program.
We look forward to having your team at our competition. Good luck to all during the coming season.
Cheers,
Judy & Tracey
