Per Coach Craig's message at the parent meeting a couple of weeks ago, we are going to register for the Viroqua tournament - scheduled for February 27th & 28th.  The team is a bit short of funds to pay the complete entry fee (after paying for other tournaments) and parents agreed to pitch in the extra amount needed to fulfill the fee.  If everyone plans on playing, the amount each player owes is $13.33.  Checks can be made out to RCYH and given to Coach Craig.  Once everyone has submitted payment, the check for the tournament can be cut.  Please touch base with any questions!

If you are interested in ordering RCYH apparel from Image World, it's not too late!

 

Image World has indicated that the embroidery options (e.g. special sweatshirts and jackets) are NOT items that need to be ordered by Friday, November 13th.  In the near future, there will be examples of each type of embroidery option hanging in the concession booth at Green Island.  The sweatshirt with the hockey strings has been identified as an exceptionally good value -and actually one step up from embroidery.

The Wisconsin Rapids tournament is scheduled for Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th. 

 

A tournament coordinator has indicated games will be played on Saturday and Sunday only - and the earliest game on Saturday will be at 9 a.m.  No confirmed schedule is available yet -- we will share game times as they are released.

• Reservations need to be made by 11/23 as the block will be released on that date
• We received a rate of $89.90 + tax for a room with two queen beds.  The room also has a microwave and a refrigerator.  There is also a 2-room suite option for $99.90 + tax.  While there are two rooms offering more space in the 2-room suite option, the room still only sleeps four.  Please mention your preference when making your reservation.
• The hotel has a pool!  They also offer a continental breakfast.
• The hotel is within walking distance (less than a mile) from the rink/recreation center.
• We each need to sign an "acknowledgement of rules" (i.e. keep noise down, no running, etc.) when we check-in.  They will not allow you to check in without your signature on this form.
• We do not yet have a schedule, so it is your call regarding reserving a room for one or both evenings.  If you schedule a room for Friday evening and decide to cancel, you have until 3 p.m. on Thursday, 12/10 to do so.
