Uniforms:  Each child will be provided with a shirt, socks, and visor/hat.  The league would like to look more uniform this year and is asking each team to wear matching baseball pants/shorts.  Teams were provided with Dick's Sporting Goods coupons at the Meet N Greet.  If parents need extra coupons they will be available at the concession stand. 

 

Concession Stand: Each team will be responsible for working the concession stand one or two times during the regular season.  Teams need to have 3 volunteers (14 and up and comfortable with counting money) from 6-approximately 8pm each night they are schedule.  (Please note this is not the same as Opening Day.)  Team moms are responsible for making sure their team has enough people on their assigned day and reminding parents of their scheduled time.  If the team does not provide volunteers, a game will be forfitted.

 

Dugout:  Team moms should make sure kids are 'behaving' in the dugout so they do not get hurt.  Do not be afraid to speak up or make rules for your dugout.  Kids need to sit in their batting order while waiting for their turn at bat.  Please make sure the next up batter is on deck and ready to go with their helmet and bat.  All players will wear their hat and have a glove while fielding.  Encourage kids/parents to cheer their team on!!

 

Water Coolers: Water coolers will be located on the fields during games as in years past.  Please encourage kids to bring water bottles with them from home if at all possible.  This is especially important when it is very hot.

 

Score Books:  If you are a team mom for an older division, the coach may ask you to keep their score book.  If you do not feel comfortable with this task, please discuss with the coach.

 

Knot Hole Club and Indianapolis Indians tickets:  Information is on the main menu on the left side of the welcome page.  This is a great fundraiser for the league.  We make $4 from each Knot Hole membership, $3 for each box seat flex pack ticket and $1.50 from each reserved seat flex pack ticket.  These will be on sale at the concession stand. OPENING DAY INFORMATION

 

Pictures: Team moms need to have their team together in the Gym 15 minutes prior to picture time and collect picture order envelopes from the kids.  The kids need to be lined up 5 minutes prior to picture time.

 

Concession Duties: The teams working on opening day are scheuled for 1 hour time slots.  Each team needs to provide 4 volunteers (age 14 and up).  Volunteers will work concessions, food tent, grills and oversee bounce houses.

 

Parking: Available in the school parking lots or at the church across the street.  There is no street parking or parking in the grassy field to the west of the ball diamonds.
