SYFA Cheerleading Coaches Information
To All Perspective Cheerleading Coaches:
Coaching is a very rewarding way to be involved in youth sports. As a cheerleading coach with the SYFA you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun and sportsmanlike environment in which to learn the fundamentals of cheerleading.
Requirements:
Being a coach for the SYFA program takes a lot of commitment. Perspective coaches will be required to complete and submit the following:
SYFA Coaches Application
SYFA Coaches Creed
GBI Background Check Form
These forms can be found in the Documents & Handouts section of the website.
In addition all SYFA cheerleading coaches will be required to obtain coaches certification through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association as well as attend the UYFC Stunting Clinic.
The SYFA is very proud of our football and cheerleading programs and will strive to make sure the best possible candidates are coaching the children of our league each year.
