18U ELITE TRYOUTS FOR 2009-2010 SEASON have concluded

GENERAL INFORMATION:
You only need to attend one session to try out for Sting Elite. However, the more sessions you make, the more that coaches will be able to see you play.
The tryouts are conducted more like clinics than traditional tryouts. In the past, many players who didn't make the team have said they were still glad they attended because the tryouts helped them improve their game.
There is no charge to attend a Sting Elite tryout.
WHO SHOULD TRYOUT:
If you are an elite fastpitch player OR if you have the desire and potential to become one, you should try out for the Sting. Sting Elite believes that there's much more to being an elite player than just knowledge and skills on the field. A player's attitude, work ethic, leadership, teamwork, and ability and willingness to learn are also very important factors in determining who will make the team.
Playing for Sting Elite requires a high level of dedication. The girls practice and play all year-round. The summer schedule can be very intense with out-of-state travel and numerous in-state tournaments, games and practices. Though the fall and winter months are less demanding, there are still games, practices, and clinics at indoor facilities throughout the "off-season".
